Ippei was impersonating Ohtani during calls to the bank in order to approve the transfers. The FBI has these calls. So far all US federal agencies (FBI, etc., hell even TMZ) have cleared Ohtani and officially identified him as Victim A in the report. https://www.documentcloud.org/documents/24542204-usa-v-mizuhara-complaint

The Official Washington Basketball Thread: Wizards, Mystics etc

The quality of the draft is irrelevant. The purpose of that trade was for a first round pick, which is valuable currency in the NBA. That pick can now be flipped, packaged, traded down, or traded for a future draft. -

I see your point. Senzel did gunk up the roster management. Too many outfielders does create problems. The young guys do need AB's and innings on the field to get in a rythym and develop. Sending a guy down in the middle of his growth can derail everything for him. Gallo and Joey are redundant too but I expect Gallo to be traded. Not sure what to do with Joey though, taking him out might be a bigger hit to the clubhouse and morale than losing his bat. Think Garret or Mike Morse. I agree, there will be some tough decisions coming up quickly. Still have to fit in Garret and Crews possibly later this year. -

Pushing out both Lipscomb and Young seems like a bad decision as both are producing. The team is building an identity with them, imo. Vagabond vets that are 30+ should always be the first to leave on a rebuilding franchise. -

Watched Captain Ron last night, first time I've seen it since it was in the theater when I was 9. Brought back a cool memory though - my dad took me and we were the only two people in the theater watching it. Got the best seats in the house lol. It was a late night showing so we may have been the only patrons in the whole place. Anyway, just before it was over my dad snuck off to the restroom and got back just in time to finish the movie. As we walked out we suddenly stopped and he introduced me to the manager, which I thought was crazy, like my dad knows this superstar that runs movies?? The manager then took us up to the projector room which felt like an honor to see such a secret, holy place. I couldn't wait to tell my friends at school that I got to go up and see the room. -

When Wood comes up (no pun intended), who goes down? They only moves I can see are to send Rosario out and ultimately move Jacob Young to the bench. -

I'm trying to think too. In 2011 and 2012 our bullpen was good except for the debacle of Henry Rodriguez. Kept putting him out there, just insanity. -

For Fubo, apparently the Regional Sports is not included in the price even though it is advertised as such. Pro is 79.99 and then another $14.99 for Regional Sports, and $6.36 for "taxes". Everything is getting insane now with these prices for streaming services. This alone is more than my monthly bill for internet. Looks like I'm sticking with Charlie, Dave and the occasional non-blackout on the MLB tv app.
