  1. Should have taken Reid for that active roster spot
  2. I would trade Day 3 picks for young guys tied up to long term contracts. Given the number of teams that just suck right now, there are a lot of sellers. Because the season could be cancelled at anytime, that depreciates the value of assets further. I would be up for grabbing a John Ross for a 6th or 7th. I wonder what Will Fuller would cost - not sure Texans can afford to bring himback next season as a FA
  3. He’s a great buy low candidate in FA. Issue is he is always hurt
  4. I really like Wilson. He is a guy that flashes Brees like intelligence and absolutely works his ass off. He should be QB3 and perhaps QB2 by the end of the season
  5. No to Ertz. Yes to Jonnu Smith, who is emerging and is a good 2 way TE. I don’t know if Tennessee has the cash to bring him back. You could also get Blake Jarwin on the cheap
  6. 3/21 or so sounds about right but lets see what happens to the cap.
  7. 980 vs 106.7 = boring old guys vs idiot millennials. How does someone like Doc still have a job?
  8. I am really excited about him. He gets a good matchup vs Dexter Lawrence on Sunday
  9. He has to be in COVID protocol for 6 days. Probably not playing this week
  10. Nepotism in the NFL is unfortunately a leaguewide issue. It’s worse so here because it is incentives for coaches to come here. Lets not forget Ron’s daughter works for the team and Jack’s son is a QC. Oh yeah and Ron’a nephew is a QC too It’s honestly why the Rooney Rule needs to be applied to more midlevel and junior jobs. Helps to break up the incestuous cesspool that is the NFL
  11. I am hopeful with him as he did a good job in the Cleveland and Baltimore games. Cooley absolutely took him down for the gameplan he put together against the Rams. At the end of the day, if KOC was willing to come back, not bringing him back was a huge mistake on Ron's part. KOC is just a better coach and he also had chemistry with Dwayne. I do remember that Ron tried getting Shurmur for the role but he wasn't having it, probably because he'd have to coach Dwayne. I bet Norv is some of unoffical senior offensive assistant but it would help to formally bring some sort of retired OC like Al Saunders on board as a consultant to help Scott out I don't think Ron would demote Scott after a season without a competent QB at the helm but some good OCs will be available this offseason, including Dirk Koetter.
  12. Yep. Too bad they didn’t ink KPL to a multiyear deal as well as he is the only starter quality LB we have
  13. Don't sleep on Toohill. They released him to make room for Vinny Curry but Philly media is pissed off they let him go. He is a great athlete who actually beat out their 4th round pick for a spot on the roster. Good get here - would be interesting to see if he can develop into a 3rd pass rusher behind Sweat and Young next year as both Anderson and Kerrigan are gone after this year https://www.nj.com/giants/2020/10/the-giants-need-pass-rushers-with-lorenzo-carter-out-and-a-couple-of-talented-young-ones-just-became-available.html
  14. You are forgetting Stafford. He's the guy I want most. He's younger than Ryan and may be available as well if a new staff decides they want a dual threat type like Fields or Lance
  15. I still don't get why they don't have a 4th DT on the active roster to replace Ioannidis. What the heck are they going to do if 2 of these 3 guys were to go down? Have a guard play on the other side?
  16. How much do the 980 hosts make? What about a scrub like Scott Linn? I was ways curious
  17. If they win a couple over next 3, they won't get Lawrence or Fields. Could be worth risking a 4th to see for themselves with Haskins
  18. Nope. We are finally out of it. It'll be $13M in cap savings. If Atlanta has a shot at Lawrence or Fields, Ryan is hitting the trade block. Stafford may as well and I'd take Stafford because he is 32
  19. I will say that Dwayne would have looked better the first 4 games building off the continuity from 2019 at the minimum. I was pissed when they replaced him with Turner but I don't think Turner is as bad as some on this board are making him out to be. Outside of yesterday, this offense has moved the ball and put up points despite having the 2rd or 3th worst set of talent on the offensive side of the ball (I would say we only beat out the Jets)
  20. If you take a look at the OL grades, it seems to be one guy that's really bringing the overall grade down. If Scherff is ready to go and can be at least above average, that'll certainly help.
  21. Given this team has been in 4-2-5 so often, hasn’t Collins effectively been the “dimebacker?”
  22. I wonder if Ron makes a play for Dimitroff to be GM. If so, I don't know how I would feel about it. I'd rather roll with Kyle
