  1. IDC who is running the ball. We need to chill with the dive-like run plays.
  2. My thoughts are below. defense: The cardinals have a big oline. It seemed like their size seemed to be a problem initially but our talent and conditioning won the day. Fuller got a lot of work. I wonder if teams consider him our weakest corner. a better QB would have beaten us. offense: What happened to our quick game? It seemed after the fumble, RR sent the “go conservative” signal to EB. Boring offense and good defense has been a winning formula during RR’s tenure. I like Gates. He raises the toughness of the group. He wasn’t backing down even when he was getting his ass kicked. bold take: I don’t think our beloved WR core are that good. I just don’t see them creating a lot of separation in key moments. QB and line play have something to do with it but the WR need to be open so Howell doesn’t need to hold the ball
  3. I'm still disappointed by Orakpo's career in that regard. He seemed to have all the tools---but sadly not enough "moves". I blame the coaches.
  4. Based on past season, that expectation might be unreasonable. Our offense starting slow is explainable but our defense starting slow is tradition.
  5. The key to the entire defense is if they will listen to JDR’s coaching at the beginning of the season.
  6. While there is a portion of durability attributed to preparation, he can't help that he is once again injured/recovering. He's has got to find a way to stay on the field, otherwise a Clowney-like career is a long-shot. I don't care too much about his maturity. Montez still can't remember to keep his helmet on after making a play, but it at least he is on the field making plays.
  7. Gibson reminds of Portis at the end of his career here. Too often he is one shoe-string tackle away from a big run/YAC. Unfortunately, I've given up on him being an explosive player.
  8. This such a wonderful time of the year. Up until kickoff, anything in good is possible!
  9. I can’t say it better than FootballZombie. The TE group has talent but they are fragile AF. I’m not sold on Thomas anymore as his irregular playing time over the last couple of seasons had to hurt his development.
  10. Well he better learn quickly because he’s going to see lots of them until he beat it regularly. Good news is he seem to be good at reading coverage. If I recall in nearly early sack he looks at the right throw but doesn’t pull the trigger.
  11. Or our backups and base scheme are that bad. TBH we have seen our starters look this bad in the past too.
  12. I’ve seen those. Just seemed like there was more coverage in previous years, particularly in the Richmond camps.
  13. I recall the WaPo following training camp more closely in previous years and providing daily writeups and pictures. I’m not seeing that this year. Is it an access issue or has the WaPo lost interest?
  14. Under RR, the team has been most effective with ball control offense and good defense. As the offense learns under EB, they could easily be high risk/high reward unit as the team learns (if they learn). There is going to be a lot of pressure JDR's unit.
  15. It looked like he rambled into a campaign speech. LOL This is mostly it. Landover would have been fine if it was within a 5min walk off the metro or wasn't off a beltway that easily gets jammed at 2am on Sunday morning. However, our current metro system is NOT always fast or reliable.
  16. He is potential screwing over the entire NFL. The higher the price, the more it benefits the other teams’ valuation and BoA’s reputation.
  17. McCain was a surprise. I thought he was ok and usually healthy. They probably cut him early to give him a chance to play elsewhere.
