I quit on Dyami early in the season. He caught the TD last week and that was the only play he made for Howell all season. If the ball isn’t perfect, he’s not going to compete for it. 9 sacks and decent run/pass balance and, they STILL lose by 12.

What a painful game. Defense plays ok to good and the offense turns into a turnover machine. Team likely will go winless in the division.

My observations: WRs still aren’t doing enough. They should not be handled by rookies so easily. Before they could only catch perfect passes, now they can’t catch those. We should run the ball more but not sure if it would do anything other than wasting a down. I do like the I formation look though. The screen game hasn’t been all that outside of Robinson’s touchdown a few weeks ago. St Juste is competitive but dayum. I need to see Payne or Allen on the stat sheet. Forbes ejection was BS.

I can’t believe we are talking so much about the offense. The defense is poop! Seattle and many teams have no respect for them and go for it on 4th down regularly. Teams know we can’t keep it together for 4 plays in a row.

My observations: Our defense is still bad but looked more active today. Except for the big TD run, they seemed to be running until the whistle. There were some energy on the stunts and blitzes as well. Forbes looked like a professional football player. I liked how Fuller stopped him from over celebrating after one pass breakup. Offense has tremendous potential, but the wideouts HAVE to work on their hands. They can't count on Howell to deliver prefect balls. Howell is a good QB. It's incredible that are a subset of fans are trashing him. The running game looked like it was about to turn the corner but EB went pass happy (while productive). It would have been cool to see Rodriguez get some. I've never seem a Patriots team make so many unforced errors.

Now we know why we let him go.

I expect the 49ers will give Chase a “you aint ish” talk on his first day. Chase might not even get snaps on that team.

Rack was always busting his butt. Chase’s effort has been trash this year.

My observations: WRs played better but Terry has to step it up and be a #1. We still aren’t getting enough of them as a group. They should be helping out Howell, not the other way around. Looks like Pringle and Crowder have taken Brown’s spot. I would have loved to see more power running as the game got later. Fuller is our best corner. he is having a nice season. I agree 100% about Young. He is checked out if he isn’t pass rushing or the play isn’t going to him. It reminds me of when Bruce Smith was chasing the sack record. Maybe he is still contact shy, but it wouldn’t help him on his next contract.

He was JAG today. He didn’t make any plays, but he wasn’t awful.

Assuming the players that are tradable play well and aren't injured. Personally, I rather they make moves in the offseason under the leadership of a new GM, FO staff, and head coach. Getting trade capital from good teams is usually meh anyway.

That works for other teams, why not us!

All our defenses over the last 20+ years turn into this. We had a good run early in Gregg Williams. They had a chance when Collins was playing Buffalo nickel, who knows if he was just freelancing.

Exactly! Same thing with tanking and trading for draft picks. It only moves the hope meter.

I'm not sure there were plays to be made. Once they gave him some time, he made good decisions. I still don't think the wideouts are doing enough to help him.

We couldn't run block for poop. Draw/dive is our best play as the defense is used to winning immediately off the snap. We need to seriously start adjusting the oline combo. Wylie has to sit. I like Gates's enthusiasm but he might need a break too.
