    That might be an insult to Clowney at this point. Young looks like a solid JAG on the 9ers. It will be interesting to see how he does as a FA.

    Fields seems to have a stretch like this every year. He seems to give off “athletic arrogance” vibes. If he puts it all together, he’s going to be dangerous. I like him but not enough to trade for him.

    I don’t get why we don’t use Gibson and Robinson to wear teams down and set up play action. Both are tough runners and can sneak out into a route.

    Defensively and run game, I was initially impressed with their effort and physicality. Howell unfortunately is not the same guy as at the start of the season. I hope he can reboot over the offseason. EB might struggle to get another HC/OC job on any team but the chiefs. He has gotten worse as the season progressed as well but maybe the all-22 says differently. Off topic, Chase better turn it up big time in the playoffs or his FA options will not be extensive.

    The ball was in the air forever. It should have been an easy pick. Also I'm always surprised how much other teams celebrate when making plays against us. Did they really accomplish something difficult?

    I agree. I'll add that it isn't a true strong running game if you can't convert short yardage.

    I love the Lions' gameplan. With their strong run game, too bad they can't convert on short yardage.

    Ron is doing the future regime a favor. Benching Howell limits his mental damage (hopefully he can recover by offseason). If Brissett plays well against the 49ers, maybe the new regime keeps him around. However if Brissett does poorly, the new regime may be able to afford him.
