Burger35
Kyle Wright is definately a good prospect. I agree anyone you draft from the U will be a impact player.
illone
Big ups to Vilma... He deserved it big time. That's not to say I like him more than Taylor, but truth be told he ran that Jets defense and scored a couple times throughout the year, causing fumbles and made a couple picks. Skins26
So he got 4th place while missing basically 3 games! I'll take it! I think its easy to tell who will be the best in the end. NFC DROY!
Skins26
They have ST listed as weighing 1 more pound than Vilma. And thats a safety vs a MLB! And Taylor could run circles around him!
coolskin
How did ST only get 3 votes...BS Because he is a safety, the lowest profile position on the defense. DE's, DT's, LB's CB's... then safeties. It is somewhat of an invisible position where they do not seem to be involved in as many plays. This is also why it is the lowest paying position on D. A safety has the least possibility to make an impact when compared to the other positions. You would have to be ridiculously all world to draw that much attention from the safety position. And if these voters base their opinions from what they see on TV, then Keshan's catch didn't help much either
jbooma
Well at least we know are AAA team is doing well so when we bring them aboard we should have a sweet D We just have to learn how to have a better team then our AAA once though

McMetal
Bullsh*t...anyone who watched Taylor closely as the year progressed knows he deserved DROY. Much like the Pro Bowl seclection process, it is all obviously a function of the team's record. F'em...Taylor will be a Hall of Famer when people won't even remember Vilma's name in 5 years. Vilma deserves all the credit he gets, take off those burgundy glasses for a change.

Indeed Vilma and Robinson, who I thought should have been DROY, definately deserved to be the top players in votes.
Warhead36
Who cares anyway? Taylor is still better then all them other cats. He changes gameplans and is a playmaker. How many other guys can shut down Chad Johnson, Randy Moss, and TO TWICE?

mookie0720
Vilma pretty much sealed the deal with that INT returned for a TD in the last game vs. the Rams in a big game. Vilma plays for a winning team, Taylor does not. The NFL rewards winners.
