Dan T.
OK, everyone seems happy that Dan Snyder is now doing his best Jack Kent Cooke impersonation: Keeping his wallet open and his mouth shut regarding the football decisions. But we're also extremely frustrated that everyone can see Mark Brunell can't do the job: everyone except the one person who matters most ---Joe Gibbs. Sooo.... Here's a sell-your-soul-to-the-devil question: Would you like Snyder to meddle one more time as owner and call Coach Gibbs to say it's time to play Patrick Ramsey? pr11fan
No, nothing good in the long term can come from that. Joe has to come to the realization that the rest of the free world has on his own as sick as it makes me to say that.

redskns21
As much as I'd like to see a change I wouldn't like to see it come this way. I think that Snyder respects Gibbs way too much to do something like this and I'm finally glad that he has removed himself a bit and is just letting Joe Gibbs coach. If you really think about it, Joe Gibbs has done an excellent job to this point in installing everything he believes in. Just be a little more patient, one day it'll all click IMO. Leonard Washington
i'm sure danny has inquired about the progress of ramsey and was satisfied with gibbs' response.
Joeythetapeworm
No. I'm one of the brunell bashers but I would rather see Brunell continue to start than see Ramsey start because of Dan Snyder's orders. It would be disastrous for the team.

Khun Kao
A resounding, deafening "NO!" Gibbs may be making a mistake by sticking with Brunell and the right thing to do may be to bring in Ramsey, BUT.... this is a decision that HAS to come from the coaching staff, not the front office. JoeSkins
Wow, you guys sure have your convictions set. Good for you all. It actually was surprising to see everyone say no.
Jimbo
Bad, bad, bad Dan T. for even asking the question.
bobzmuda
I believe Gibbs has explained his rationale for keeping Brunell as starter to Snyder and that Snyder, in his deference for Coach Gibbs, agreed. You can bet dollars to doughnuts that the rationale Gibbs gave wasn't solely based on moving the football and scoring points though. There's something else at work. 88Comrade2000
NO. As much as I would love to see Mark benched; Danny needs to stay out of football decisions. I hope Joe wakes up and sees the need for a GM to help him out next year.
Woofer
Interesting question. The answer is No. But it is an interesting question.

Dan T.
Well, the consensus seems to be -- to paraphrase Meatloaf -- "I'll do anything for Ramsey, but I won't do that."
Dan T.
Originally posted by Henry No. No. Bad, bad, bad idea. Henry, I hate to call you out, but it seems you're doing your best John Kerry flip-flop. In the thread "It's Official: Joe Gibbs Has Lost It" you say, and I quote: "I think Dan Snyder should make Gibbs start Ramsey." Did I miss some sarcasm there? Or were you temporarily wacko out of frustration?
OrangeSkin
Hell no, that would piss Joe off so bad, he may leave and disassociate himself with the team completely. We don't want that, no matter how bad the team is.

Skins11
No no no no no no. I'd much rather just have Gibbs play the worst combination of all the quarterbacks we have had in the last 12 years than have Snyder screw around with Gibbs's squad.
