Bang
i don't think it's weird. I haven't done it but that is only because i don't go to the movies very often, and when i do, it's nice to go with my wife. If a movie comes out that I want to see but she doesn't, i typically wait til it's on Demand or something. But I don't think it's odd. I've never looked at a person alone in the theater and thought "how lonely" or anything. Now going to dinner alone,, that would be weird to me unless i sat at a counter or something... but sitting at a table alone, i would feel very conspicuous. ~Bang
Burgold
I don't think it's weird either. After all, even when you go with someone seeing a movie is a pretty solitary experience (unless you're a teen trying to get a little action)
Rocky21
Going to the movies by myself (especially a matinee) is great. On the other hand going out to eat by yourself....

Commander -JB-
Do you watch any movies at home alone? If the answer is yes than the answer is no.
Califan007 The Constipated
Of course not. It's a movie theater, not a couples retreat lol...
Momma There Goes That Man
I go by myself a lot. I love it. Sometimes schedules don’t work out or nobody is interested in the movie I want to see. im not going to miss seeing a movie I want to see just because I’d have to watch it alone. I don’t talk or whisper during movies anyway so it’s not really any difference to me but it does feel like I can focus more. Some of my best movie experiences were alone
