Dan T.
Overshadowed, but Michael A. Taylor was spraying hits this series too. Wouldn't it be nice if he found his groove.

He would be just fine if he could manage .260/.300/.410 from the 8-hole.

TimmySmith
While there is nothing positive to losing Eaton, at least the Nats have luxury of moving Werth back into the 2 hole where he seems to do his best work. I wonder if they would ever consider giving Difo some outfield time. He needs ABs more than Taylor and his speed is needed.
Warhead36
This is still a really good lineup, just not potentially best in baseball good. We still need bullpen help.

That really is it. This team should win the NL east. But come October, missing Adam Eaton will be a big loss. With the Zimasciance, having Eaton hitting the way he was made the lineup 1-8 very strong
Warhead36
While that may be true, the bats weren't really the issue last October. We scored more than enough runs. The problem is our Cy Young winner went 0-2, the pen was terrible, and Dusty made some bad managerial calls.

Yep and MAT ain't going to cut it as a replacement. This guy Stevenson has wheels, and sees a lot of pitches. Both good traits.

The playoff roster was stocked with 5 of the same guy on the bench. There weren't any guys who put the ball in play when all you needed was a ground ball to the right side to move a runner. MAT or Chris Heisey on the playoff roster was a waste over Revere or Difo.

Difo was on the playoff roster. He made the last out against Kershaw in Game 5.
Mr. Sinister
Losing Ramos hurt lazt year. Losing Eaton will hurt. Gotta hope that Bryce and Zimm stay superhuman, Rendon stays hot, and Murph stays healthy

Riggo#44
I always find it funny people trying to predict October in April. This team is going to be significantly different by then.

"This won't be measured in days, it will be measured in weeks," he said. "It will be a considerable time." Today being May 1. I would GUESS rehab assignments start July at the earliest. skinfan2k
last year Zimm was terrible, harper was injured, Murphy didn't play the last 2 weeks of the season, ramos got injured the last week of the season, no strasburg. If everyone else stays healthy, we are fine. The bullpen really didnt blow a game last year in the playoffs
