Are these two pieces of advice related?

*Nods slowly .....

The full version would be NEVER get complacent with zippers whilst going commando when angrily dressing whilst arguing with a woman who's (ALWAYS right, even when she's) wrong.

It was a morning. .

But damn if it wasn't a life lesson never to forget!

Hail.

really? we're looking to move to NC. Raleigh, probably.

Yeah, we're talking about just for a year or so...then back this way.

I have family in the Raleigh area. We go out there once a year.

Not enough going on for me, but some gorgeous areas.

This is the smallest city I have ever lived in.

Because it's hurricane season, i thought I'd put this in here for those who don't know. In the event of a disaster and you need to purify water at home use:

2 drops of regular household bleach to purify 1 quart of water or

8 drops of regular household bleach to purify 1 gallon of water.

If the bleach is concentrated, use 6 drops per gallon.

After adding the bleach, let the water sit for 30 minutes. It will be safe to consume after that. Always try to filter any debris out of the water before adding the bleach if you can.

This really works and can be used in the event you have no power and can't boil water.

SEE! I KNEW I was right when my 6 year old investigative self got a hold of the bleach bottle only for my mom to **** a brick doing a Michael Phelps dive to snatch it away from me.

Bleach is safe to consume.

Wait 'till I see my Mother! That's one ass whooping I want back!

*Nods and shuffles uncomfortably at the memory.

There's a lot to be said for being Jewish I would imagine at a time like that and that's all I have to say on the matter!

Just needed to forewarn my brethren  of the dangers of the situation.

Hail.
