Kosher Ham
really? we're looking to move to NC. Raleigh, probably. Yeah, we're talking about just for a year or so...then back this way. I have family in the Raleigh area. We go out there once a year. Not enough going on for me, but some gorgeous areas. This is the smallest city I have ever lived in. brandymac27
Because it's hurricane season, i thought I'd put this in here for those who don't know. In the event of a disaster and you need to purify water at home use: 2 drops of regular household bleach to purify 1 quart of water or 8 drops of regular household bleach to purify 1 gallon of water. If the bleach is concentrated, use 6 drops per gallon. After adding the bleach, let the water sit for 30 minutes. It will be safe to consume after that. Always try to filter any debris out of the water before adding the bleach if you can. This really works and can be used in the event you have no power and can't boil water.
