Should I be watching Jessica Jones and Luke Cage also? yes, they are different in tone compared to Daredevil, but both are great in their own ways

As Daredevil, not as strong as Season 1 --- I am not into this ninja cult nemesis... as Punisher Season 1 -- awesome, so much more to explore with Frank Castle. Yes you should be watching JJ and LC. Riggo#44
Watch Jessica Jones 1st as that series introduces Cage. I haven't started Cage yet--but I am very excited about it.

To keep chronological order, watch Jessica Jones next, then Luke Cage.

Think of The Hand as DD's version of Batman's League of Shadows. They're a huge part of the DD history that ties him to Stick, Electra, & Bullseye. Bang
Yeah, DD is a ninja himself. The Hand is crucial to his mythos. And besides, Frank Miller created them on his amazing run of DD way back when,, and since it's the Miller DD that has gone forward, and inspires this series.. they have to be there. ~Bang
Riggo-toni
Despite great acting, the Luck Cage series was disappointing. It started out great, albeit predictable/formulaic, but the last couple of episodes were awful.
