Veretax
Look my opinion is RGIII's mechanics were not consistent. We'll have to wait and see how long it takes to get him back to full season form.
Rexx1240
I bang my head against a wall every time a pitch is called. I swear that play loses yards 95% of the time. Helu actually seems to run better when the ball is piched to him as opposed to just handing it off.
Gibbs Hog Heaven
Still surprised to read folk happy for that to be run again in the same situation. For me, it's ALL about percentages and minimizing risk. Pitch plays/ bubble screens et all in your own EZ are a complete no-NO. When you do something like that, you increase the risk of disaster. As happened with 10's bad pitch to The Butler Monday. Each to their own, but I sincerely hope Kyle has heeded the risk off that in that area and plays the percentages next time out. Hail. darrelgreenie
A pitch is the riskiest run play because of the method of getting the ball from the QB to the RB. It's also risky because it losses yards more often then a traditional run play when the play is 'sniffed out' In short as opposed to most run plays when a pitch plays go bad it can be a huge loss. Hence the risk of calling it in your own end zone. It's not that big a deal though.

But should they do it again THIS weekend if they are on the 2 yard line?
darrelgreenie
Then Kyle isn't as risk averse as you.
MWAI
Then Kyle isn't as risk averse as you. well I have to admit that you are right. I am more conservative than Kyle. At least on offense but I am probably more daring when it comes to defense.
