OxonHillSkinsFan89
That this play could be the deciding factor in the Redskins not making the playoffs?
skinsfan07
No it won't. Chicago is on the downfall and may lose 2 or more games. As long as we win and they keep losing, we'll get in over them.
TD_washingtonredskins
Unfortunate that they got that call wrong, but Seattle sure looks worthy of a playoff spot.

Then it goes from fail Mary to a play of legendary status named *Americas Gift*. Or even better could screw the Giants.

That's true...except that we know we can beat Dallas and New York and don't know how we'd play against Seattle. If we can grab the East and get Seattle in Washington, that's definitely an advantage! Of all the teams we might play in the wild card round if we got in, Seattle would be the scariest IMO. They have a dangerous defense, a solid running game, and their QB isn't too shabby either. We'd probably be underdogs, though there's not really a problem with that. A major difference will be what happens with their corners. Are they still appealing or serving their suspensions or what? Are any of them in line to be stuck sitting week 1 of the playoffs?

Good point...that would be sweet. I think we would have won in Carolina in 2005 if we got past the Seahawks. We were done in 2007.

I have not forgotten how terrible their fans were about Sean Taylor in that 2007 game. Just horrible stuff coming out of their mouths.

MisterPinstripe
Rooting on screwing the Giants. It wont. Mara would just have the NFL disallow that win so the Seahawks would be knocked out of the playoffs for his Giants. Duh. ---------- Post added December-10th-2012 at 03:51 PM ---------- Yeah. Are any of them in line to be stuck sitting week 1 of the playoffs? They were pretty smart with it. One is appealing, one is not. So that way they are only without one of them for most of the rest of the season and playoffs.

Even though the win already happened he could have it overturned by giving each team 1 extra win besides the cowboys and redskins.
