flexxskins
We obviously need a WR to step up with Moss going down, Do we even have any receivers who are ready to come into a game and contribute? Have we the past couple of seasons? I'm just asking. Thoughts?
DM72
To be honest, are we really losing that much with Moss going down? I say, bring in TO. It won't cost that much.
FuriousD
When the mob grab their pitchforks and torches, no one is safe. But regarding Keenan, I would say lets see how the youngters do the rest of the year. We've got to figure out a way to get more production from them and Armstrong too. Bobbyst21
Its not to early to question anything on this disasterpiece of a team. Niles Paul came in for a few plays and played pretty good. IMO. Hank even got in and ummm..... Gafney cant catch and everything thrown to Armstrong was uncatchable.
skinzplay
Moss is not integral to this offense. He's easily shut down by competent defensive coordinators. I still am not sold on McCardell as a viable, bona fide receivers coach. Two years ago, there weren't many good ones available when Shanahan was hired. Last year, there were some good one available, but I guess the team didn't want to (or couldn't) make the change. The guy had no experience as a receivers coach, save for some kind of internship with the Giants.....so I do question the move.
Burgold
Armstrong came on strong last year and Austin seems to have improved a lot. Paul seems to be coming along... I'd say Keenan isn't our problem at the moment.
KDawg
It's difficult to make chicken salad out of... well, you know the rest. But, ultimately, that falls on the coach, unfortunately for McCardell.
jeffsays
I'm all for getting T.O. and dropping Stallworth. I'd say that McCardell has done a decent job but not terrible. Just decent.
NewCliche21
Uh, I'm pretty happy with Austin and Paul. Armstrong was also a nobody before McCardell took a shot on him.
bedlamVR
Yeah ha lets blow it all up again change all the coaches **** the fact that this is exactly what we have been doing for the last ten years ....even under Gibbs..... we don't have the talent or the depth to start changing horses with the positional coaches . I have issues with the play calling from young Shanahan but we dont have the parts to play the game he wants to . I have questions about other parts of the team and coaching staff but I think we have to do something we have not done in nearly 20 years and maintain some consistancy behind the players . That started last year but 2 consecutive seasons (and we are not even there yet) with the same coaching staff is not 'sticking the course' You want to know why we suck and why we never seem to be able to get over that hump look at not the lacking talent in the players but the constant changing of directions and the short term thinking that is to blame .
