The Washington Redskins are coming off a week where the experts believed in them without question. Like the 'Skins are prone to doing they failed miserably, falling to a lesser team because of early mistakes. This week the Redskins head to Lincoln Financial Field to take on the division rival Philadelphia Eagles. This match-up—as we all are painful aware of—pits Washington's new QB Donovan McNabb against the team he played for for some 11 years. Many experts—surprisingly— believe that the McNabb lead Redskins leave the city of brotherly love with a W, but most believe they are overmatched. The Redskins typically play up to better opponents and down to lesser ones. Whatever the outcome is I am betting on the winner only winning by a single score.

I just have to sit there and take the jabs from all the other clowns because regardless of what I think about there teams they either have a class organization or put a good product on the field. We no longer fall into either of those categories and it pains me.

As for the Skins, for some reason I have a good feeling about this game. I think the team will play much better this week. Will they play well enough to win? We'll see, but I think this game will come down to the wire, like the Houston game. The big factor in this game will not be Vick (everybody knows what he can do) but our McNabb led offense against their defense, which put simply. Is not as good as they were last year.

I am hoping the Redskins can get this win not only for the fans but also for Donovan McNabb. As much as I have had to hate the guy the past decade he has always been a really good quarterback. Philly did him wrong by trading him within the division or at all for that matter. I hope he pulls a Brett Favre and rips the Eagles a new one today.
