Killbox
I cover the sport of Supercross on the side and they held a race in the new stadium March 20, 2010. I took that opportunity to run our colors hard and proud in enemy territory. I'm not sure if you guys know this, but Joe Gibbs Racing has a supercross team run by his son, Coy. I've met Joe in the press box on several occasions and still act like a kid in his presence! Their site is www.jgrmx.com I may be one the first to ever wear Sean's jersey on that field in his honor. I must say the staff was always polite and professional, but a few did say I was f'ing crazy to wear a Skins' jersey in here without an armed escort. Several fans in the stands did give me the normal ribbing, but nothing out of bounds. These pics were taken in the morning for track-walk, but 45,000 fans showed up for the evening's racing so I was QUITE out numbered. This made my year! I did in fact run into Joe Gibbs that night and had him sign my treasured jersey. He damn near hugged me when he saw me wearing it and we talked about Sean for several minutes, and his book. It was a special day that I thought I'd share with my Redskin faithful.

squatch66
man that is awesome!!!!! i went with my stepbrothers and their cousin to the cowboys stadium to do the tour where you get to go into the locker room and stuff. i was going to wear my st jersey and i had this elaborate plan set up too. i was going to sneak a water bottle in and have someone snap a picture from behind of me pouring the water bottle out so it looked like i was pissing on the star on the 50 yard line. my father nixed that because he thought that someone would pick a fight with me so he wouldnt give me my ticket until i changed shirts lol. that is so amazing that you got to meet coach gibbs and even more amazing that he took the time to spend a few minutes with you and sign your jersey. i dont care what shanny accomplishes here gibbs will always be the best coach we have ever had. edit: and i will say this. that screen is ****ing huge. CrypticVillain
I wonder do fans of other teams run into their teams coaches and players as much as Redskins fans. That is so cool. And I have to go to Cowboys Stadium one day.
jflow78
That is awesome. I know you can't say it, to stay employed, but just blink if you peed on the star, just a little. I actually think we should put a Dallas star in all the urinals at Fed Ex. Great story man.

HailGreen28
I actually think we should put a Dallas star in all the urinals at Fed Ex.Great idea. #1 because it's Dallass. #2 because of the possible benefit (less mess) mentioned here. Crazy Levi
It's a bit over the top, yeah, but that is one hell of a football stadium. Danny must weep with envy when he looks at it.

Kindred
I'm telling you, next time you get the chance, grab a bottle of water with a nipple, go to the star at the center of the field and snap some creative pictures.

stevenaa
I wear Redskin garb to games against Dallas in the toilet bowl and all you get is some ribbbing. All in all a good venue. Looking forward to seeing a game in the new Stadium. Took a tour and it is quite the piece of ......work.
