My question is, how do you see Chris Wilson fitting in after making the move to linebacker last year and do you think he could win significant playing time? Thanks! PD93 Posted July 27, 2010 Author Share Posted July 27, 2010 I remember that play by heart.On that topic, aside from his locker being moved, is there anything done in memorial for Sean Taylor and do the rookies and free agents coming in keep his memory alive? Sean's memory will never die. I think in our alone time, everyone thinks about him and what he meant to all of us. He is gone but never forgotten. It's always nice to see an old highlight with him making a play. Just brings a smile to your face. Whenever someone new comes to this team, the first thing they ask about is him and how he was. I guess CG and RW were closest to me because we played the same positions. Can't help but miss Randy because he could cook and make you laugh. RW posted here in the past seemed like a good guy, given that football is a business do rivalaries mean as much to the players as they do the fans given you may end up playing for or against any given team after your contact is up? Will the Redskins really be serious contenders this season?? Are you expecting somewhat of a "trial & error" or "getting used to the new system" type of response from the team in this upcoming season... NewCliche21 Posted July 27, 2010 Share Posted July 27, 2010 That sack and recovery against Philadelphia in Week 17 of 2007 was was one of the most memorable plays that I've ever seen as a Redskins fan, and I'd say that before or after November 27, 2007. Thanks again for taking the time for us, Phil. I can't say enough how much it means to us as fans. My biggest question is on the only man whose rookie jersey I've ever bought and someone for whom I had the highest hopes: LaRon Landry. Many people seem to forget what he did the last four games of 2007 and then in the playoffs. What I saw was a superstar, ever since that game-clinching pass defensed at Philadelphia in only his second pro game. Unfortunately, we haven't seen much of those highlights from him since. I stand up for him on this board all of the time, and I've made an open bet to anyone: LaRon Landry is in the Pro Bowl by the end of the 2011 season (assuming there is one!).
