SkinInsite
AN ice-skating BEAR killed a circus trainer and seriously injured another man during rehearsals for a controversial show. The performing beast suddenly went berserk and dragged 25-year-old Dimitry Potapov across an ice rink by his neck, almost severing his legs. He then mauled a 29-year-old circus assistant who tried to rescue Mr Potapov, causing serious injuries. It is believed the horrific attack, in Bishkek, Russia, happened in front of a large audience including children. I wonder if the bear can do a triple lutz. Skinz4Life12
good. animals shouldn't be put in the circus for our entertainment. its a shame the bear was probably killed instead of placed back into the wild where it belongs.

Destino
The "training" methods used on these bears is pretty brutal. It's no surprise that they eventually snap. I'm not sure exactly how this bear was handled but it's often similar to a fighting dog killing it's "owner" (read: torturer).

Not for nothing, but that had to be more exciting than watching the bear just skate.

Yep, the use of wild animals such as elephants, bears, monkeys etc. should be banned from use by the circus. If I were to ever protest along side PETA, it would be outside of a circus. MurrayH81
Perhaps the guys who train bears like this could apply for a headcoaching job with the Snyderskins. Teaching a bear to ice skate has to be much harder than teaching a bunch of professional athletes to play the same game they have been playing all their lives, doesn't it?
