Rexrode21
So my favorite ESPN Magazine issue should be coming out soon where they preview each team and "experts" pick who they believe will be in the playoffs and win the Super Bowl. So I thought it would be fun for us to do this before they do: NFC: East: Giants North: Vikings South: Falcons West: Cardinals Wildcards: Redskins (gotta do it) Packers AFC: East: Patriots North: Steelers South: Colts West: Chargers Wildcards: Texans Dolphins Superbowl: Patriots vs. Falcons Patriots Win. BurntToast
Falcons servery overachieved last year and i think they only win 8 games this year. Saints win the South.

SirClintonPortis
I was going to bash you until I saw Dallas in the playoffs Oh, don't worry, even if Romo sits to pee does win a playoff game, we will make sure the "Redskins are undefeated against Dallas in NFC Championship games" streak continue. Prepare for pain, especially that Terence Oldman dude....

darklight1216
I got a weird feeling about the Texans this year. Picking a team which has never finished above 3rd in their division to take it way from the winningest team in the nfl (in '08) and the regular season juggernauts is strange, but not as odd as the fact that no one has picked the Bengals yet... Rexrode21
I hope that an AFC team other than the Colts, Steelers or Patriots makes it to the super bowl but I just don't know if it will happy. Maybe the Ravens or Chargers?
GhostofSparta
NFC: -East: Giants (It sickens me, but their defense will be viscious with Osi back) -North: Vikings (Not because of Favre per se, but because having a legitimate QB will make Peterson unstoppable) -South: Saints (This defense will be improved just enough this year to give Brees some extra wins) -West: Cardinals (Warner+Fitz+Boldin+Decent D=division winner) -Wildcards: Redskins (defense is just good enough to allow us to sneak in), Bears (Forte is a great RB, and will benefit from Cutler the same way Peterson will from Favre) AFC: -East: Patriots (11-5 without Brady, they'll do just as good, if not better, and nobody in the division will challenge them this year) -North: Ravens (I see them getting an elusive win against Pittsburgh this year to pull it out at the end of the season) -South: Colts (Peyton is still Peyton. The Titans and Jags will go downhill this year, and the Texans aren't quite there just yet) -West: Kansas City (Yeah, I'm going way out on that limb, I just see this division being so unpredictable that anything is possible) -Wildcards: Bills (I think that having TO with Lee Evans will give the Bills just enough ammo to sneak in), Texans (I think they sneak in with the #6 seed) Round 1: -Redskins (#5) over Saints (#4) -Cardinals (#3) over Bears (#6) -Bills (#5) over KC (#4) -Ravens (#3) over Texans (#6) Round 2: -Redskins over Giants (#1) -Cardinals over Vikings (#2) -Colts (#1) over Bills -Ravens over Patriots (#2) Round 3: -Cardinals over Redskins -Colts over Ravens Super Bowl: -Cardinals over Colts And with a Cardinal's Super Bowl win, the 7th sign of the Apocalypse will have come to pass, and this world shall pass away. I know they play in a bad division but you really think they can get a wild card in the AFC assuming the Chargers win the West?

BigMike21
Wonder if that's because of Cassel? Cassel is going to help score some more points sure. Especially with Bowe turning into something special and some decent vets like Redskins Killer Toomer and Lelie. But isn't their defense really bad? Plus they are trying to move to a 3-4 defense so you know there are going to be some learning/growing pains there. Hell I know I'll be scared going in to that game this year but I don't think they can make the playoffs.
tr1
As much fun as these threads appear to be, it's really 80% personnel and 20% luck as to who makes the playoffs and succeeds. Injuries are the wildcard...and, much as I'd like to, I haven't been able to predict those at all...:rotflmao:
