illone
Please chime in and let me know if your jersey has shrunk at all. I just bought one that is a bit too big and need to know if this thing will shrink. :eaglesuck:gaintsuck:dallasuck
SkinsFanInTennessee
I have 3 of them. NEVER have washed them, always dry cleaned mine.
Old Dominion Monarch 06
Yeah none of mine have been washed. I don't wear my authentics to games, only at home during away games..and usually not even then at risk of spilling a beverage on them. I wouldn't wash it... if I were you I'd get it tailored if you really want to make it smaller.
DButz65
I've never washed mine, i only get them dry cleaned once a year if that, but they arent made out of cotton , so they SHOULDNT shrink...

illone
I think I will just send it back and order the smaller size. Sounds like this thing is not supposed to shrink at all.

Rdskn4Lyf21
ilone (or anyone else) - how similar do the true authentics fit to shirt sizes. For example, if you wear a large shirt and bought a large jersey, is the jersey cut bigger or smaller? Thanks.
BigMike21
I wash my Landry every few months inside out lightly with little detergent then usually air dry it. The Authentic ST21 is in a frame signed so no need to wash it!

TheDoyler23
I have an authentic Jansen jersey that will sit in the closet till he retires... They won't shrink. When you wash it, soak it in a little woolite in the sink and hang dry. If you put it in the machine, turn it inside out and stuff it in a pillow case (especially for replicas). For example, if you wear a large shirt and bought a large jersey, is the jersey cut bigger or smaller? Thanks. Well the authentics run a little bigger than the replica jerseys, i would say a 54 (which is what i have) would be somewhere between a XXL and a XXXL, I have a replica cooley, same size 54, and its snug on me compared to the authentic jerseys. I think redskins.com has size listings, like xxl compared to ie 50, 52, 54 etc etc

I've always gotten 50s, lost weight, then 48s, and those are too big for me. I was thinking of getting a custom authentic but the lowest they have is a 48 and I didn't know if the authentics were cut smaller. Oh well...thanks again! Yeen80
I have a couple of authentic jersey's and they have not shrunk. I dont think they will shrink no matter how many times you wash them. Mine have lasted me a few years and are in great condition. I always hang them to dry.

Bubble Screen
If you've got an "authentic" jersey and it shrinks, then I hate to be the bearer of bad news........but it's not authentic! My guess is they're washing it in warm or hot water. Both no nos. So is ironing a jersey. Some people just don't have a clue.
