WVUforREDSKINS
The cartoon thread had me watching some old classics on my laptop and I think its safe to say that The Simpsons died when Phil Hartman did. Lionel Hutz and Troy McClure were two the the greatest characters of all time. "Mr. Simpson, the state bar forbids me from promising you a big cash settlement. But just between you and me, I promise you a big cash settlement." Bailiff: Do you promise to tell the truth the whole truth and nothing but the truth, so help you God? Marge: Mmm... Yes, I do. Hutz: She sounded like she was taking that awful seriously Mr. Simpson, this is the most blatant case of fraudulent advertising since my suit against the film, "The Never-Ending Story". Homer: So, do you think I have a case? Hutz: Homer, I don't use the word "hero" very often, but you are the greatest hero in American history. WORKS ON A CONTINGENCY BASIS NO MONEY DOWN Which Lionel Hutz changed to: WORKS ON A CONTINGENCY BASIS? NO, MONEY DOWN! Bart: So you don't work on a contingency basis? Hutz: No, money down! Oops, I shouldn't have this bar association logo here either. (Then he rips up the business card and eats it) Lionel Hutz: Cases won in 30 min or your pizzas free. Hutz: Well Mrs Simpson, I didn't win. Here's your pizza Marge: But we did win! Hutz: That's OK the box is empty! Judge: Mr. Hutz w've been in here for four hours. Do you have any evidence at all? Hutz: Well, Your Honor. We've plenty of hearsay and conjecture. Those are kinds of evidence. http://www.hulu.com/watch/23428/the-simpsons-jury-of-the-damned Lionel Hutz the babysitter (best clip) http://www.hulu.com/watch/23622/the-simpsons-babysitter-lionel-hutz http://www.hulu.com/watch/28251/the-simpsons-getting-bart-back http://www.hulu.com/watch/21835/the-simpsons-dumpster-law

Thinking Skins
I appreciate these characters, but thats like saying Southpark died when Chef left. The Simpsons is still a classic show. I think they had their 20 year anniversary a few months ago and that show was all about how they weren't out of ideas. They still keep me laughing.
