BigRedskinDaddy
What exactly do the refs look at for that challenge? The TV lines are not official. Good point. That was a very ambiguous call.

Cowboys12
I think this rule goes up there with the tuck rule.. pretty bad.
scyber
If you watch that replay closely. the red line is about a half yard behind the post on the sideline.
TheDoyler23
If you watch that replay closely. the red line is about a half yard behind the post on the sideline. Yea, the red line was a good foot too far back, it seems.
JohnLockesGhost
So essentially the rule is you can run the ball downfield one yard and still throw it downfield as long and drag a leg. Lame rule that puts a defender in an impossible situation.

The red line was WAY off. It was a good reversal by the rule.

Hubbs
Looks like a dumb challenge to me. And is 5 yards really worth the challenge, anyway? Edit: OK. I just remember. If there's no penalty, then it's a completion. Still, I don't think it's worth challenging, even if it was a bad call. (And it wasn't.) It would have been fourth down, Larry. The completion gave them the first. They weren't challenging for the yards, they were challenging to avoid being forced to kick a field goal. royallypwned
Every time i recall him leaving his feet it ends badly. The guy has no vertical and cant jump the pile or hurdle a short defender. I have seen numerous times this year where the guy hurdling gets ****ed up (houstons QB comes to mind). Its just a dumb football move, except at the goalline. hurdleeeeee
