hail2skins
There's plenty of blame to go around for this loss and its true that Rogers has been a good cover guy this year but the fact remains that it seems like almost every game this guy has an INT in his hands and doesn't come down with it. Teams that aspire to reach the next level make such plays, and until we do, we won't be there.
FunBunch7
...that one time while playing a football game he ACTUALLY intercepted a pass that was right to him...but you know how rumors are...and I highly doubt this could be true... This guy would drop his own kid if you handed it to him!
Saqs
I hope Clos feels horrible.
Muzzah
Yeah, he can't catch! We need a guy that can't read plays and knock down 50% of the passes thrown in his direction. We just want a guy that can make a pick six every now and again but give up way more passes. Seriously, do you people listen to yourselves sometimes? He's not the only one that has been dropping interceptions. Landry has been dropping them all season as well. The secondary coaches need to get in the DB's friggin' skulls that they have to make the catch before looking for the TD.
DarrellsMyHero28
If you want one person to blame for this loss, blame Zorn and its really not ALL on his shoulders. His play calling was pretty bad but no one person is responsible for this loss. O-Line sucked, Campbell looked bad, WRs weren't open, CP wasn't himself, secondary didn't look great, defense got very tired...etc.
pogoism9
after that dropped pick they showed his face numerous times and god he looked like he was going to start bawling (as he should, a 1st round corner makes those catches)
Major Harris
momentum ...if u dnt know how important that is then im sorry ah, the subjective argument. i fully understand momentum. i know it enough to know that the momentum didn't shift on carlos' drop. it could have, but it didn't. now, the blocked punt was a big shift in momentum. Jofizz
He was trying to decide what his endzone dance would be when the ball hit him square in the face. I'm a huge Carlos supporter, but this is an ongoing problem.
orlskinsfan
thats why he plays defense...cause the man cant catch a ball... besides he has been playing pretty lights out this year...he didnt have a great second half of the game, but damn were they going after him a lot. Muzzah
Well, that may be true that Rodgers caught an interception before. But the fact stands that there is no CB on the Redskins with the last name Rodgers.
FunBunch7
He should seriously just put huge casts on both his hands...at least then he could cause some damage to receivers when he jams them at the line...it's not like he'll EVER pick off a pass. REDSKINZ-RIDEORDIE
Who is this Carlos Rodgers character? We have a Carlos Rogers on our team, but not Rodgers. Must play in the CFL. They need to keep that dam D in his name, cause all he does is deflect passes..........For the rest of the season and Rogers career, he needs to work exclusively on catching drills, the way that Shaq needs to practice on the free throw line everyday in practice. After that one week that Zorn had the CBs working on those INT drills, that next week Rogers got 1 (maybe 2) INTS.........

Brandon Lloyd Christmas
guys, its no secret carlos rogers cant and NEVER will be able to pick balls with consistency, even if they are glued to his facemask. its not going to happen.

After that one week that Zorn had the CBs working on those INT drills, that next week Rogers got 1 (maybe 2) INTS......... CB's are meant to deflect passes and shut down other teams top WR's. So far this season, that is exactly what he has done. And he's been fantastic. He shut down Ward today. Holding him to 39 yards and 0 td's. Granted he should have had 1 int, but despite all the talk about it, he's not a wr and it isn't his job to catch every ball thrown at him. He's a very good CB and the ints will eventually come but IMO ints don't make a good CB, cover skills do, and Rogers is very good at it.
krsone
what gets me the most is we wasted our 1 round pick on this freaking bum. when we talk about roger's dropped INts, they make excuses like " that is why he is a CB, not a WR' Are u freaking kidding me? a sure INT that is a game changer and momentum changer that could easily change the outcome of the game...... a 1st round draft pick? a multi million salary....... lord what a waste on this mediocre CB. deejaydana
Anvil Hands is back! LOL. I don't have as much of an issue w/him dropping one pass, though it had the potential to completely change the tone of the game as I do w/him giving a WR a 7 yard cushion when they are already on our 12 yard line. WTF was that?
U C S D SkinsFan
I agree with you krsone. WTF is wrong w/ this guy? My 10 year old cousin makes that catch in the ****in backyard. How pathetic was that slipping right through his hands...that really would have changed the game. ugh
Taylorfan2179
it may sound sad, but I'd like to see a vid of all his dropped pics, I feel like it could easily fill 1:30. Torressa bleeding burgandy?
Muzzah
Momentum: THIRD DOWN EFFICIENCY 3/15 - 20% There was none to shift. Our only momentum was our lack of momentum. All our points came off of 3 and outs that we were just so lucky to start in field goal range. It was a mixture of play calling, execution, bad passes, and terrible blocking. Where was the play action? I mean, we pass deep more on first down than on third and long. We had two deep attempts, TWO! Don't know if it was Campbell just not willing to even toss it deep and would rather hang onto it for a sack. Need to slap him on the forehead and say "Sometimes you just need to stretch the defense and remind them that we can throw it deep." LeBeau's 50-ish years of experience totally trumped Zorn's half year of experience in play calling. There's no way around it. Zorn will get better undoubtedly, this was a good wake up call (as if losing to the Rams and almost losing to the Lions wasn't enough already.)
