JGordon_3
returning punts that is. If today showed you anything, it's that having an explosive punt returner can change a game around. It wasn't like they magically blocked better on that play for Santana. He just made something happen. I know Santana is a bit fragile, so maybe we don't keep him back there full time, but we have to try something else, whether it's Tryon, Devin Thomas, or whoever. Something's gotta give. I don't wanna see #82 back there anymore.
StJoe4Life
I don't want Moss doing it full time. I'm too scared he'll get hurt. :/
Killer Rob
reminds me of the ol' Darrell Green days
PleaseGoForTheWin
I think Moss should go back on occasion, maybe once or twice a game. But we can't risk making him the full-time guy. He's too valuable as a receiver.
skinsngibbs4life
I haven't like randle el all season. I would love nothing more than to get someone else back there. However, as much as I would love to see Santana back there, I think its too risky.
terpfan
How about we clone Moss so we have extras?
Skinz4Life12
yea i agree that we should put moss back there part time
hoskins
We can't risk Santana there too many times. But clearly we need a punt returner who isn't 82 or 89. I'd be happy with someone who just gets positive yards consistently. Even 5 yards in the right direction consistently would be great.
LoudMouth12thMan
I agree with second post. No way you want Moss out there on a regular basis. Punt returns are a bonus not a key part of the game...i.e. Bush's two TD's in a loss to the Vikings on Monday night (I think that's who they played). Point is, you need Santana for his abilities on offense and you can spot work him once a game like Danny is doing.
cubanl81
Yeah lets put moss out there so he can get hurt. I like the Darrell Green angle, only put him back there when you really need a spark. No way they risk putting him out there more. If anything they should try and work Thomas back there.
emor09
put Thrash back there for the majority, and Moss in the key parts of the game
bulldog
to be effective running back punts you have to be fearless. it appears since he became a starter that Randle El is not as willing to sacrifice his body in the return game. and maybe it is not in the Redskins short-term interest to ask him to do so given that Thomas and Kelly are not contributing at WR. Thomas would seem to be a candidate for the job. I am sure the question there is whether he will show good judgment in fielding punts and holding onto the football. The physical skills are there. kevin11
We should draft Brandon James out of Florida.
WSHRedskins3ATLBraves3
We need to stop letting Randle El return punts. He is one of the worst punt returners I've seen. If not Santana (I don't want him getting hurt) then put James Thrash or Devin Thomas back there.
Samuels
Santana has a better chance of being hurt running a crossing route then returning punts. Seriously name me some people who have been hurt returning punts its very rare.:2cents:

Stone Cold
randle el looks slow...perhaps it's just me, but he just looks slower than his days in the burg. don't advocate santana doing it all the time, but a change should certainly be considered

mhearn
we def need to find another option for punt return duties..itd be cool to IR kelly and grab willie reid off the eagles practice squad..he wasn an amazing return man in college had a bad injury rookie season with the steelers was let go this year and grabbed by the eagles. http://seminoles.cstv.com/sports/m-footbl/mtt/reid_willie00.html wasnt a big game time reciever but did real well on returns
iMeast
I would rather neither one of those guys return punts. Put Devin Thomas out there, but I don't want my number one and two receivers out there doing something they could easily get hurt doing. :steelersu HTTR
[[ghost]]
He ought to be back there occasionally. Let ARE handle it for the most part, but having Moss in there is a good change, because he's more north-south than ARE.
