As far as Clay questioning Tig, I think after Clay decided Jax told the ATF lady about Op's lady, Clay is done trying to work it out with Jax.

I think Clay is thinking of a violent purge, just like he did to Jax's father. I think Op put the idea in Clay's head.

I think the rest of the club doesn't blame Clay for the bad decisions, they're obviously blaming Jax for the troubles between the two and all of them have one at a time asked/told Jax to back down and make it right.

Looks to me like Jax is becoming more and more isolated. He did however make points with Op and the fat guy by the way he handled the Myan leader.

the fat guy has been kinda neutral. IMO he & Jax seem to be the only one looking at the "big picture" and focusing on the overall betterment of the club.

Jax is becoming isolated from the rest, but he's doing so to keep the club from disintegrating. if he wanted to, he could tell everything that really went down with Tig & Donna and Op's old man would back him up because he knows. problem is, if jax does that, the club would damn near instantly dissolve because Op would want to kill Clay & Tig out of revenge

this show has alot of dynamics to it right now, Clay vs. Jax is only one of many

I agree he is a natual ally of Jax. But he doesn't know what's at the basis of the problem. Even though he backed Jax in the vote on whether to retaliate he's also told Jax to back down and settle this thing he has with Clay. He also told Jax that if the impass continued he'd "have to choose a side". Clay has also curted his good favor with the job at the porn club.

Right Jax can't tell the truth, and Clay can't take the pressure that someday Jax will tell. Jax doesn't get any credit for having the clubs back either, because nobody in the club know's that's what the beef is about.

This show sucked for the first few episodes. I agree it's must see TV today. It's definitly a high point of my week. Wonder when Lost is coming back.

They were going to see the 9'ers but the Mayans had already taken over the turf.

ok...thank you.

What I find interesting is that Lobell is givin the guns to the Mayans, and he is being protected- wonder if he is setting them up- or trying to set up a big gun fight with them and SAMCRO.

I think Jax won mass points with Opie after the Mayan incident and not giving up his leather. Some may have been questioning his loyalty.

I missed last season, so not sure if the porn movie turf war was going on then, but it is an interesting side issue right now- definitely getting into this show. I wonder if Jax's lady is going to leave him- maybe force him to walk away. I doubt he would.

Absolutely he is. He's trying to use the Mayans as his mussle.

I don't know.

Seems like with the way things are headed, Clay could be the one that's starting to isolate himself.

He's obviously got this very public feud with Jax that nobody quite understands (because they can't imagine the truth behind it), but they know it's over a deeper issue than either guy is willing to admit. Now he's questioning Tig, who is his most loyal guy in SAMCRO, and on the heels of that, he led the crew into another bad incident with the Aryans, almost getting them killed in the process.

And now after Jax let out a little hint about things during their argument at dinner...Clay's got everything to lose with his increasing paranoia, and the way he keeps lashing out and making rash decisions looks like its driving him further away from control over SAMCRO.

90 minutes next week will be awesome. This show is easily one of my TV highlights of the week.

Interesting twist now with Jax going nomad for the time being. I really think Tig is going to end up switching his position on supporting Clay. Things just aren't going well for SAMCRO and it's largely because of Clay's rash behavior.

Does anybody know how many more episodes are left of this season?

the fire thing was odd- no bodies? that one fingered guy didn't have a cell phone? I mean- that was just a weird one.

I almost am starting to feel like the show has too many story lines. I love the show, but its almost like watching an ADD kid sometimes.

i dont think Jax is going to follow through with going nomad. i think Gemma will finally tell him and Clay about her being raped, and that will bring them back together, at least in the short term

that would be interesting- however the preview for next episode shows Jax asking Gemma about his fathers death and questioning if Clay played a part.

I'm also a bit miffed at why the just let Luan's death hang there. I wanted to see them retalliate. But then again, there are so many story lines that they prob just don't have time to address that right now.

Wow, I just watched Tuesday's episode and what an unbelievable hour, I love this show. Tig is really starting to waver on his alliance with Clay or its like Jax says he's protecting his right hand spot either way Jax going to the judges house really seemed to put Ope back in Jax's corner, and everyone is seeing how Jax is the stable one and Clay is losing it and you just know that Ope has to be asking himself about what Jax said about the "dead wife" guilt. I love the ruthlessness of Zobell and tossing the other neo-nazi into the fire. I wondered about the lack of bodies too at the studio and I think its because the two fingered guy saved the neo-nazi after Zobell's goons left him for dead, and now SAMCRO is gonna have a new alliance against Zobell.

Its interesting though with the teaser for next week where Jemma is telling Jax that she doesn't think his father's death was an accident because last season she was talking with Clay and seemed to indicate that she knew that Clay had Jax's father killed, I'm just trying to figure out how she's playing Jax with that; whether against Clay or against some other group. I am also really interested in what the ATF lady is going to do with the information about Jax transferring to the Nomads.

This is the pivotal episode of the season and next week really looks to deliver.

Not that I ever doubted it' date=' but you sir, Mr. SU, are a genius of quality TV programs.[/quote']

:D even though i saw it coming, i loved the way they pulled it off

Awesome episode, I didn't see the ratting out the Irish coming though. One thing is for sure, Jax even while staying has weakened his position within SAMCRO.

Oh, its Cwarm....

i didn't see chibs snitching either, but the man was backed into a tight corner. it'll be interesting to see how that plays out

in regards to jax, i think they're doing a great job of laying the framework for his eventual takeover of leadership in SAMCRO. like you said, he is being weakened as an individual, but he's allowing it to happen for the betterment of the club overall. you could see in his face when he had that talk with clay and during the vote that he was hoping someone would vote no.

Clay & Jax's payback will be of biblical proportions. damn shame we have to wait another week to see what happens

Tig & Half-Sack on shrooms was hilarious :hysterical: (the closed captions on my screen picked it up as "coorrm")

IMO, this is best show on television at the moment

I agree with everything you said, and especially this, its funny because SOA's quality is simply highlighted by all the crap that's on right now. SOA is usually so intense that I spend time afterward decompressing and thinking about what is coming next, I don't do that with any other show.

Oh and I wanted to punch that hospital admin.
