Week 5 Expert Picks: YAHOO! Sports, ESPN, Sunday Countdown, Madden Sim, CBS, and NBC

Even after a huge win last week in Dallas against "the NFL's best team" the Washington Redskins are getting less respect than the late Rodney Dangerfield. The Redskins get only three of the possible 23 expert picks this week. Hopefully they can prove the critics wrong and actually elevate themselves to an elite team. If the Skins can go 2-1 in the NFC (B)East home games would be phenomenal and would be great going 4-1 with the next three opponents having only a single win amongst them.

This is exactly the way I want it. I honestly, don't expect to win Sunday (not that I believe we will get blown out, but I think it's more just a must win for the Eagles) but if we do win then its freakin huge. We will be looking down the barrel of what could be a 7-1 or 8-1 start

O-line needs to step up, as well does the D-line. if we can do this we will be fine. if not it will be a tight game. does anyone know why we are blitzing less and less? i would think that with our new pass rusher out we would need to find a way to get pressure on the QB.

i believe its because weve been against very pass heavy offenses so we needed the man to man with the safety over top, it woulda been nice to send laron in but you cant really risk it...im sure well see more as the weeks come be patient:)

Don't be counting you chickens just yet. Your talkin about classic trap games that often bite teams in the ass.

This team needs to playing one game at a time, and lookin at every team as if there the top of the mark. We coast one bit, and it could have devestating results.

Our favorite rectal/cranial invert, Bill Simmons comes right out and he says he still doesn't believe. If we win this one, he's says he's on the bandwagon.

I'm almost wondering if we wouldn't be better off losing this week so teams won't take us seriously. We win this week and we won't be able to catch anyone by surprise. Not that that's a BAD thing.

Schlereth picked us? I thought there was a thread on here saying he picked us to lose and not even make the playoffs.

He did, on NFL Live one of these past few days...so I really don't get that at all. Unless they put it under the wrong person or he changed his mind?

Possibly they changed it on the air? Or did that to get better ratings?

Who knows, let's keep having people think we're not going to win so that we just fly under the radar or get disrespected the entire way to the Playoffs and beyond.

Sure the team does but us fans can speak the truth without it effecting the outcome of the game. Any worse than 6-2 after these next 4 games and they ****ing blew it. If they win this weekend then even 6-2 is unacceptable. :2cents:
