Cherick
Malcolm Kelly is invisible to oppossing defenses!!! But I have to go definitely with CLINTON PORTIS!
PassAttack
Through the years, Redskins Offense struggled; however, defense always rocked!!! To standout defensively in the rookie year takes some serious skill!!!! Horton!!! I have a feelin he makes rookie of the year! Goes to his first pro-bowl. interplanet_funksmanship
I go with Portis and Landry. Once Antwaan Randle El kicks it into gear on kickoff returns, I'll add him to the list. He's a one man band, and makes the game fun to watch.
909997
right now? jason campbell there is no other qb in the league who is efficient as campbell.(its only week 4)
WVUforREDSKINS
Portis can run, block, and tackle. I believe he could play linebacker if he wanted to. It is Portis.
Glory of the Game
Clinton Portis #26, the toughest man on the field.

Salty
London easily as far as overall. Id say CP on offense he can do so much and leaves it all out on the field. Rock is great too and I can see the arguments for Landry, Rocky and Samuels. Ask again at the end of the season and we may have to add Horton. Dudes a baller. Skinzaddict1983
WOW...this is a tough one.. I can't even break it down to just one guy... Playermakers on O - CP DL - Carter LB's - Fletch OL - Samuels ST - Rock Secondary - Springs LS (long snapper) - I'm leaning towards Albright here
illone
Clinton Portis. He could pretty much play any position on the team sans line. Hell, I bet he'd line up at NT in a pinch. Think about it, he blocks better than any back in the league, he's a consistent 1K yard performer year in and year out, produces double digit TDs every year, and he has a 130.8 career passer rating. Definitely Portis.
Capt Rich Fla
Rocky is good, but Portis was the one who said to draft him. I think CP has it on and off the field. We have a few other good players that CP pushed for that are turning out to be beasts. That shows how the higher ups respect his mind as well as his legs. MeNoRevs
London Fletcher If we lost Clinton Portis, I think its only a small drop off if we go to another RB. If we lost London Fletcher, I think our defense would suffer like the colts losing Bob Sanders.
Zhouse
Best football players I think has to go to CP. He has shown us he can be a power back, a shifty back, a receiver out of the backfield, a blocker, and a tackler. The man just tunrs into a beast when he steps on the field no matter what the situation is. Hard to pick over London and Laron but I gotta give it to CP. He's stepped up to become w/e the team wanted him to be.
TimmySmith
Portis. I would bet he would win the vote by the team. In addition to all of the physical skills, he is also has some of the best football smarts and will do anything to win.
Audible_Red40
Tough one, but gonna go with Fletcher.
iwasdoinit
Can you really compare different positions? Fletcher, Moss, and Samuels, not necessarily in that order. And Campbell has looked great.
darrelgreenie
Im not talking about best star wise i mean best over all football player. After watching the replay of the dallass massacre i gotta go with Lorenzo Alexander. He does everything, great blocker, gets good pressure at D tackle, and is a great blocker on special teams. Who gets your vote? Dude, tough question for me its either.... or or
SKOALSKIN
Portis is by far the best player we have. While Lorenzo Alexander can play multiple positions. Portis can close and win games. He also has to be considered one of the best pass blocking RB's in the league.
BoBoCTiberius
Jason Taylor. Incredible at getting off blocks. Knows his position incredibly well, knows how to rush the passer and helps way more than he should be able to in run support. One of the best defensive ends in a long time. London Fletcher goes behind simply because he doesn't have the athletism JT has. Fletch is an amazing player. One of, if not the smartest player I've ever seen, and never takes off a play. He just doesn't have that insane condition and talent Taylor has. Campbell, if he keeps playing like he is, may take out both of them. Makes great presnap reads, athletic enough to make plays without his arm, which is a cannon, when given time can be deadly accurate, and is learning to throw it away. Still winds up a little too much, and takes sacks that he doesn't need to, but he's becoming a special player. He'll either show his growth this week, or take a ton of hits.
