return2glory
I did not get a chance to view the game. Did anyone get a chance to see how Chad looked last night?
Fredburgskin
I didn't hear his named called (besides praise from the announcers about all his potential), so he must have done a decent job.
chow184
he looked real good at LG last night,I don't recall him ever getting beat
Burgold
The run game was powerful and the passers were incredibly efficient. That means Chad did well. No one was really running for their life. At first glimpse, Zorn's first draft class is doing really well (knocks on wood)
dswerdlw
Played very well. I was at the game and watched him carefully. He usually put his man down and went looking for another. Plays mean.
IbleedBnG83
Poor lineman, they don't get enough attention. He looked good from what I heard and saw. REALLY GOOD. They should look at him for RT IMO.
No Excuses
John Madden said he's going to be a very good one for us for a really long time.
MDRedskinsFan
John Madden said he's going to be a very good one for us for a really long time.I guess he snuck that gem in there between his drooling for Favre.
4skins23
I had no clue who he was. I had to look if he was on the 'skins and what position. :stupid:
Fury010
Chad, Crummey and Geisinger were opening big holes up the middle for Marcus Mason to run through.
burg&gold4life
He looked real good, maintained his blocks until after the play was over and moved well from one defender to the next with his blocking on run plays.
chrisxcore
He looked good from what I saw. Played a lot better than Heyer... who spent most of the game moving backwards and falling down.
JMac
He played well. There was one play that scared me though where he got rolled back over someone and thankfully did not tear his knee up.
CaptChaos86
I thought Chad played very well last night. He seems to play with a mean streak, and i like that.
RDSKNfaithfull
I think he is being groomed to take over for Kendall. He played a lot of left guard and Zorn seems very wary of Kendalls knees from his comments earlier in the offseason. He also said he wants to see if he can play right away. McMetal
He definitely outplayed Heyer. That dude just looked lost out there.
The Mick
There was a point where Colt got sacked right into the back of Rinehart's leg and it started to roll in an awkward way, you could see him start to bend and reach for the ankle, but he was ok. I was thinking "here we go again". He looked good though. Heyer got a little dinged up last night though...what's the latest on him?
Never4get#21
He looked good from what I saw. Played a lot better than Heyer... who spent most of the game moving backwards and falling down. Heyer sprained his knee and T. Wade sprained an ankle, but we still didnt see that much pressure on our QBs. Tod Collins held the ball too long on his two sacks, so in all the OL did very well. Chad looked solid and I was suprized but Crummey did well also. No complaints when you put up 355 yards of total offense and score 30 points. skinsngibbs4life
There was one play that I read that an ES member said Chad got pushed back and knocked down. Outside of that though, he seemed to do pretty well.
ouvan59
Rinehart for the most part looked very good although he did have one play where he got absolutely blown up and knocked back about 3 or 4 yards into the backfield. But overall he had a good game.
GibbsFactor
All you had to do was look at those gaping holes Mason and Rock were running through.
fansince62
on the whole...he looked good to me. one caveat is that I did see him standing around more than once...almost got him hurt when the pile came back into him from behind. when one guy is down....go find another youngster!!! Bostic Hog
Chad's family (mom, dad, sis) joined ES at our tailgate. He is so excited to be a member of the Skins family and his family LOVED ES. It was really cool to meet them --
Fifty Gut
He played well. There was one play that scared me though where he got rolled back over someone and thankfully did not tear his knee up. I saw that play. I immediately started yelling at the television (Marcus Mason) as I got flashbacks of Betts doing that to Thomas in '05.
chrisxcore
Agreed, no complaints about the O-line as a whole but prior to Heyer's injury you'd have to agree that he did look lost at times and spent too much time on the ground. I have no doubts he'll improve as we move forward, I was only expecting better from him at this point given how well he played last season (with the exception of the Seattle game) Heyer sprained his knee and T.
