jrockster21
I realize I may be a bit off here as a Celtic fan... But...Anyone stop and think that the translation MAY have been wrong? That's what I think (and hoping) happened. Otherwise, Paul is losing his mind. Does Pierce speak Spanish? If not, then its not a translation, its a direct quote. Unless its a translation of a translation.
KDawg
Does Pierce speak Spanish? If not, then its not a translation, its a direct quote. Unless its a translation of a translation. Which is what I'm getting at. Perhaps the reporter asked in Spanish, and Pierce spoke in English and the reporter got it wrong. Didn't think it was that hard to comprehend

81artmonk
Yes. But Kobe faced double and triple teams. Pierce did not Yeah and I might add to your great comment that it's easy to score when your man is off double teaming someone else leaving you open to do your thing. It's also easy when the other team doesn't show up and play D.
BRAVEONAWARPATH
I guess a little success can really go to ones head.
Mooka
Yes. But Kobe faced double and triple teams. Pierce did not Pierce was facing plenty of double and triple teams throughout the series.
DieselPwr44
Yes. But Kobe faced double and triple teams. Pierce did not Was that when Pierce asked Doc Rivers at halftime to let him guard Kobe?? Pierce was outstanding on defense this postseason as he held both Lebron and Kobe in check. He may not be the best player every season but this past postseason, he proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that he belongs in the conversation. Most underrated sf in the league. :2cents:
the burgundy and gold
good lord is that some sort of joke? He's debatably, not even the best player on his team. I won't bother restating what other have said in this thread but this is an absurd comment.
Larry Brown #43
I thought this was going to be about Antonio Pierce. It would have been more believable. That's exactly what I was thinking. And I have no doubt Antonio believes this about himself too.
