TorresA
Haha South Carolina Moe's Crosstown Tavern- Moe's is a dark, dirty, old neighborhood bar with crappy service and not enough room, and it's impossible not to love. Good beer, great food.

Predicto
They got San Francisco pretty much correct - Zeitgeist is the best bar I know of. It's right around the corner from my kids' new school building, so I expect to see a lot of parents banging back a beer among the bikers and hipsters next fall. http://www.esquire.com/bestbars/bb-Zeitgeist

Tulane Skins Fan
Ok, considering everyone seems to think this list is crap ( ), what are the best bars in DC? I heard a call for Madam's Organ, which I also really like. Some others I like a lot are Rocket Bar in Chinatown, and Cleveland Park Bar and Grille. Anyone else? Rhino Bar, Brickskeller, Cap City Brew Pub, Irish times, Sequoia on the waterfront, 3rd Edition.........McFaddens. Then if you want to get into Virginia bars, ive never been to Roanoke, but i have a hard time believing that a bar there makes a list that none of the nice Arlington bars dont. Tulane Skins Fan
I'll agree with Thirds, Front Page and Sequoia. I really can't stand McFaddens though. I don't really get the Brickskellar, but I know a lot of people love it there. For a multitude of beers, I'd rather go to RFD and sit on the back patio.
