kiingspadee
Though it hasn't been publicized in the wake of longtime owner Georgia Frontiere's death earlier this year, the St. Louis Rams are on the market, according to several NFL sources http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news;_ylt=AvYC.VBvJH9Iutu5F2_HO61DubYF?slug=ms-trippintuesday052008&prov=yhoo&type=lgns

kiingspadee
I saw on an ESPN Ticker that a former 49ers owner is interested. There is talks that because their lease is up in 2011 i think it is they may go to LA - thus making the LA Rams ---again

Califan007 The Constipated
vet minimum and incentives  Geez, if they come back to L.A. this place is gonna go bonkers. Los Angeles fans don't care too much about football right now, but bringing home "their" team after seeing it go to the Super Bowl twice--and without Georgia (she wasn't too well liked around here)--they'll see merchandise fly off the shelves. redskns21
Actually they aren't, at least according to a statement released today by the now owner of the Rams, http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news?slug=ap-rams-sale&prov=ap&type=lgns.
33
Actually they aren't, at least according to a statement released today by the now owner of the Rams, http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news?slug=ap-rams-sale&prov=ap&type=lgns. All that article says is that they have every intention of making sure the team stays in St. Louis. In a written statement, Rosenbloom stopped short of saying definitively that the team would not be sold but reiterated that there are no plans to relocate. redskns21
True 33, I didn't actually read this article. I just read earlier in the day a post on ESPN Hashmarks, http://myespn.go.com/blogs/hashmarks/0-7-267/Rams-issue-statement-about-potential-move.html and could swear that at the time it was titled something to the effect of them not being for sale. It's all good. Now if we all pool our money together maybe we can buy the Rams and make them a Skins talent pipeline.
Kosher Ham
Even in a bad market these teams make money. I would never sell a team. Rams have built a following and are decent...no way I would sell that team.

EnFoRcEr_uPu
The Rams have the most pathetic fanbase I have seen in my life. I'll never forget the 2005 game against them when you could literally hear the players on the field on TV it was so quiet in there. Pathetic...
