flock53
Rumor has it, Peppers is being shopped. I read this on Draft Daddy. com Blog. Would there be any takers here? With 2.5 sacks last year, a far cry from his norm, would we be able to get him for a reasonable price? Say this years 2nd and a 2nd next year maybe being a 1st based on production. Or our 1st this year and maybe get a mid rounder in return either this year or next. Im game, hes still only 28 yrs old. I dont think theres any injury issues. NavyDave
Two 2nd rounders for Julius Peppers? If he is healthy that deal is palable because we could trade down and recoup a 2nd rounder. But this is a pipe dream.
Laxpunk2006
I'm sure every fan of every team would LOVE Julius Peppers. However I'm not sure he would be worth what he would cost not only in terms of draft picks but also financially. He's coming off a very poor season, and will still likely demand a premium. In my opinion he will remain a Panther this season.
brianforster
I want players who are going to have their best season as a Redskin, I don't want players who have their best season before being a Redskin.
36HAMMER
would be nice to have him and hall
Genghis Khan
He's coming off a very poor season, and will still likely demand a premium. So what everyone said that about Patrick Kerney and the guy dominated. He was injured and the team was having a bad year not a big deal. I would jump on this deal the same way I would jump on Eva Longoria.
DCranon21
How about a day 2 draft day pick and Brandon Lloyd. That is the only way we will get him. He'll want to have a big payday.
Loyal2Washington
At 28 he is still a game changing DE that must be accounted for every single play and still has, barring catastrophic injury, a min. 5 good years left in the tank. I would certainly see what the Panthers are seeking in exchange. I would much rather part ways with a first rounder for Peppers rather then Chad Johnson or DeAngelo Hall if I had to choose. CPortJGibbs89
Peppers is still in the prime of his career. If we could get him without giving up the house I would make this move in a second. With Carter on the opposite side of him we would have one hell of a defensive line. I dont know why alot of people are down on him, he is still in the prime of his career and an absolute monster. skeenzfan
His production has just not been there. He seems to disappear from the games and doesn't dominate like a player of his caliber should. I think we need some young blood at DE
Gibbs=TheBestEver
He's getting older and I would much rather get someone who will be with the team for a long time... don't want to trade away any picks for him. plus wasn't he using some banned substance a little while ago - we don't need any of that
909997
dont we have enough underachievers on the team already?
Snagletooth
If he is available there must be a reason. You don't let go of an elite player at a premium position. Kearse comes to mind. He was a monster too. His production was cut short with some injuries, The Eagles gave him a mega deal. And I have hardly noticed him since. Burgundy Burner
If we could get the Peppers of 2006 and previous years, then it's a deal. Otherwise, pass.
SkinsFan48
His career is on a DECLINE. why would want someone like that. NO WAY.
2006Skins
At this point he is trying to avoid injury. A lot of reports came out during the year Peppers was taking a lot of time off so he would avoid the injury bug... Of course it didn't work. He's on the wrong end of his career and hasn't shown any interest in taking a paycut. Pass
shhrz
wow....one off year and he's done!! it's amazing. the guy will be great for at least another 6 years. he's worthy of a 1st round pick. we wont find anyone better than him via draft or free agency.
