dockeryfan
Wrap these guys up now. Please. The team had it's chance with Dockery years ago, but and he got too expensive. Don't make the same mistake with these guys. Wrap them up this offseason. These signings would not mean they would have to be starters, but depth people. #98QBKiller
Heyer played very well last night, he held off one of the best DEs in the game in Strahan
asnpcwiz
Alexander is playing with a purpose. He needs to stay.

Chump Bailey
Both of these guys were good finds. Where would we be without Heyer - in deep :pooh: in all likelihood...
Chachie
They got some very valuable experience this season. Extend them now and make our o-line deep and unbreakable next year. Also- Can I get an "amen" for Yoder? :applause:
Califan007 The Constipated
Are they both rookies?... And Montgomery needs to be locked up first lol...
CRobi21
Heck, I wouldn't mind them being starters. Both are playing good. Especially Heyer.
Mania
These players are very valuable and should be locked up, but they are in the first year of their contract and we are currently 20 million over the cap. This offseason is not the year to lock them up as they have three more years before they are FA's.
Kurd Cudins
each is under contract through 2009. we will wait until after NEXT season to extend them. heyer CAN'T renegotiate until 2 years of his rookie contract have expired, which is next year. Touchdown Redskins
Both of these guys were great finds, but our offseason needs to be focused on drafting well, getting lucky in FA, and cutting a lot of dead weight from our team salary. We can wrap those guys up next offseason.
BoondockSkin
alexander is just extremely valuable. i love watching him go in motion on offense.tgijef Yes. Didnt they motion him back to TE from WR one game? Pretty sure they did because I cracked up when I saw 310lbs out next to Moss.
laxpck
But, but, but we dont do good in the draft. We never find quality backups and young talent No doubt our F.O. just got lucky - as it did with: Landry Cooley Campbell Montgomery McIntosh HB Blades (played great last night) I dont want to get started on the F. A. pickups we have gotten it right on. Cause that takes away from the Lloyd n' Arch crowd.
Cooley's Kidz
it's great that even when we're thin at the oline we are able to mold these young guys. I don't know if we have to lock them up now b/c i don't know about their contracts but i would definately love seeing these guys grow together
BALLz
No doubt both have played unexpectedly well. Personally, I'd like to see Alexander get rewarded for his play with a dump off to him at the goal line.

skinslove<3
Both need to be locked up. Both true Redskins. exactly how i feel about the situation as well. i met lorenzo alexander this year and he just has the spirit that we need here, just excited and ready to learn and develop into the best that he can be. lock em here with the skins! Is either one a free agent to begin with at season's end? If no, then they're simply not that big a priority in my mind. We are going to have to watch every dime this off season if we hope to improve.
gibbsfan2018
But, but, but we dont do good in the draft. We never find quality backups and young talent Yet we trade are picks every year for guys like ducket and lloyd. I hope we have learned. It seems like we have more picks this year. Art McDonough
I'm going out on a limb. I predict Stephon Heyer will challenge Jon Jansen for the starting job at RT next year and may beat him out. Even when healthy, Jansen has been inconsistent in recent years and Heyer is going to be a beast.
Rufus T Firefly
Yeah, no need to re-sign either, but they are nice to have around for sure. Hopefully we find a couple more guys like this next year.
