HighSoci
So what was up with all the dropped passes in the game yesterday? I know the Fins receivers dropped a whole lot more and had every right with ST lurking out there, but Moss dropped a couple that should have been caught. Smoot doesn't drop the INT, game over without OT. Seems like that only one that didn't have a problem catching the ball was Randle El which I might add was a great performance. :eaglesuck :eaglesuck :eaglesuck :eaglesuck
TankRizzo
Moss just isn't used to catching real passes yet, he's still adjusting from getting softballs from lefty.
DaMuller7
Man I'm with you on that point, all I could say when Moss dropped those two passes was "Wow, what the hell is going on?!?!?!" :whoknows:
HEavyJumbo85
Campbell threw a few behind Moss and a few others were off the mark. Campbell needs to touch up his accuracy because that's a big reason why those passes weren't completed.
HighSoci
I'm not talking about the passes that were JC's fault. There were a couple of them and its expected from a guy his size. Afterall, he is a big guy. There were just so many dropped balls that should have been caught.
tone_dubbz
Jason could have thrown some better balls, but if you get both hands on the ball then you have to catch it. I think JC will get better with his intermediate throws.
TODD
If you get your hands on it, catch it. Especially when you are $30 million players like Moss, Lloyd, and ARE. Moss' drops were inexcusable, I expect he'll be better next week.
TheDoyler23
I couple of the Moss drops were behind him, but if it hits his hands, he's GOT to catch it. This was probably one of his worst healthy performances as a Redskin. ARE lit up the place, though! He's second or third now in the NFL in rec yards. NewCliche21
What's with this "first game of the season" crap? Balls didn't change size or weight. These guys have been catching balls their entire lives. They're being paid MILLIONS of dollars a year to catch balls. I rode a bike for the first time in seven years yesterday. I don't get paid like Lance Armstrong. I still remembered how to do it. Catch the damn ball.

Soup
They all looked like smoot when he was about to get that INT. They where looking at getting a touchdown before catching the ball.

Catch the damn ball. while a very good point. you do have to take into consideration the switch from a soft throwing left handed qb to a rocket throwing right handed qb. the ball looks different coming in. the spiral is backwards. all that jazz. not saying its a GOOD excuse. but its a valid one. though i do think it should have been focused on in the offseason to minimize the transition. What? The ball doesn't look any different at all. It's being thrown straight to you. You've had half of last season and all of the offseason to catch the ball with the same quarterback. It's not an excuse at all.
jnhay
One thing everyone should know by now about Moss is that he'll come back and show that those drops were flukes.
TheREALJBird
Moss had a bad game sunday, plain and simple. Sure the JC passes weren't perfect, but they were FAR from uncatchable too
Lombardi's_kid_brother
I think it is a Week One thing. I was in a sports bar and there were a million drops all over the league yesterday.

I hope to God you are kidding, other wise you just made yourself look like a fool. But maybe that's what you're going for.
SKINZ33
There were some dropped passes yesterday but it was the first game. Things like this tend to happen early on because none of the starters are in true "game shape" so timing and passing can be off at times. I don't think this will be a trend as Moss has proven to us that he definitely has the hands.
cosmopolitianbloodloss
Jason was off on a lot of his throws. Some were too high or behind the recievers. Still, those are catches Tana can make. I was disappointed. But I have faith in him, he'll be better next week.
MONTEY
Lloyd made no attempt at all to adjust to that pass in the endzone. He didn't even try to take down that defender after the interception. Disappointing performance. :helmet:
Veretax
There was one pass in the 4th where ARE dove sideways and nearly came up with it....
