Taylor 36
It was obviously a mistake, but thanks for your unnecessary comments. As for me being on the No New Threads list, I'd sure love to know how that happened. How bout you just keep your posts about the topic at hand and avoid the extras. Look, I was try to give you a heads up. However, if you want to be an ass, I'm sure one of the mods won't have a problem wiping you good and clean out of here. How do you mistakenly quote your own post??? Nice try. And, had it been a mistake, you should have edited it out. Nice try though.

CGSKINS
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but the only one being fooled here is you. You have obviously been listening to someone that doesn't have the terms of the deal straight. The reported offer was pick 21, 53, 70, 117 and Dre Bly for the #6 pick. Lets say they draft Alan Branch at 6, here is the possible compairison...#6 DT Alan Branch, Michigan or #21 DE Anthony Spencer, Purdue #53 OG Justin Blalock, Texas #71 DT Tank Tyler, NC State #117 CB Young Prospect And CB Dre' Bly Now which team got the best of this trade again? And since when does signing all the Cleveland Brown washouts to be your D-Line and drafting Maurice Claret, who everyone knew was trouble, with a 3rd rnd pick qualify as good team management? :applause: :applause: :applause: :applause: :applause: :applause: :applause: :applause:
Veretax
Are you a Broncos fan? :yikes: If we even move the #6 pick, we're killin em in the deal. I dont know where you get your info from, but Bly is alot more then an average DB, he's one of the most underrated guys at his position. You seem to forget his stats when you make statement such as that. And in case you missed it, we're without any other picks but the #6 pick for Day 1. I think if we deal the #6 pick, we could end up with Carriker or Okoye in the 20s along with 2 more picks for us to grab a CB/S and a LB possibly. Rogers, Smoot, PP, VF, BLY, Tayloer explain to me why we should draft another DBack when we got those guys?

#21Taylor4Ever
Rogers, Smoot, PP, VF, BLY, Tayloerexplain to me why we should draft another DBack when we got those guys? I'll tell you why, because Rogers has one final year to show his worth. This draft's full of potentially very good CBs, so why not draft a kid? Bly will be 30 this season, Smoot is a #2 CB, Double P has to come back from a devastating injury, and Fox looks decent but isn't a stud DB. And while we don't wanna hear it, Sean Taylor is a Hurricane, and we all know how those Canes go for the $$$$$$$$. He may have a few more years with us, but there's nothing wrong with drafting a CB with that 3rd rounder.

Every year there are good Dbacks coming out, so why the rush to get a fresh face now, when you already got money tied up in smoot, taylor, rogers, arch and others. IT makes no sense. It makes less sense then the Draft Calvin Johnson talk, a position where clearly we had little production last year. If you add bly I mean thats a NOTHER corner you got, minus springs, c'mon got to have something besides that
Kaylore
With more teams involved, especially a division rival in the Giants, we're going to force Snyder into more of his crazy antics to get Bly. Denver will come out with a good deal: We always do.

This is the year that Snyder does things the right way, you guys dont stand a chance in this deal.
CommDownMan
Denver is planning on suckering the Redskins with this Bly bait. They knew the skin's wanted Bly, so they took him first because they are actually targeting their 6th pick overall in this years draft. Don't be surprised if Denver ends up with S. Springs, the 6th pick, and avoid Bly's high pricetag. Then, Denver will draft Alan Branch or a speed rusher at number 6. The skin's will be stuck with an average DB, and an average rookie pass-rusher with it's lower 1st round draft pick. Denver, once again fooling the skin's! This should teach us all about good team management, which the skins don't have.-Bryan So what happens when/if the Redskins don't bite??? Who'd be laughing then:)
project myu
If we have to trade Springs for Bly, then we got screwed again, no matter how many extra picks they give us. I hope this is the year the Skins don't get suckered by the Broncos.. Giving up a second rounder and Bailey for Portis.. Giving up draft picks to move up to draft Campbell who we may have been able to get for less.. Giving up a third rounder for Duckett.. SkinsFanAnt
Agreed. WE WILL GET SCREWED IF WE TAKE THIS DEAL! All the guys who are talking about birds and stones obviously didn't watch last year's season. We signed Smoot. That's one 'bird'. We now need to sign an IMPACT DT. IMPACT DT. IMPACT DT. And NOT ANOTHER GOLSTON or MONTGOMERY...both of those guys will need 2-3 years more of development. Sorry, but trading to the Broncos for more expensive FA and draft picks stupid. We can get all the players in the world but the bottom line is our cap doesn't necessarily allow it unless we just rebuild the whole team. I'm hoping this is the year the Skins will be deliberate and not overreach for once. The only way we give up this pick is if we get 2 first rounds (this year and a future), a second, and 2 picks in either 3rd or 4th round...and that's ONLY IF BRANCH AND OKOYE HAS BEEN TAKEN. Those are the only 2 impact DTs in this years draft and we need to take one with the 6th pick. Forget that BLY wants to play here...he signed with Denver FOR $$$$$...is he going to stop the RUN or put pressure on the QB?
GoSkins420
I don't think that trading the #6 pick is a bad Idea but I think we should hold onto it until Draft day when it will have the most value.
