twenty-eight
pft.com POSTED 11:22 a.m. EST; UPDATED 11:33 a.m. EST, March 4, 2007 MOSS-TO-PACKERS TALK HEATING UP A source with knowledge of the situation tells us that the Oakland Raiders and the Green Bay Packers are continuing to work toward a trade that would send Randy Moss to the place at which he pretended to moon the home fans two years ago. As we reported a few days ago, the Raiders wanted a first-round pick. The Packers offered quarterback Aaron Rodgers. The talks were on hold while the Raiders courted Jeff Garcia. Now, the talk has resumed, and we're told that it will likely be either Rodgers or a second-round pick that goes to Oakland for Moss. Stay tuned. Other teams still possibly in the mix are the Jags and the suddenly Redskinesque Patriots.

And why do they feel the need to call the Patriot's Redskinesque? Until the Pat's have had several years of consistently overpaying bad free agent pickups they will not be Redskinesque

SUSkinsFan
They'll take it like Dallas fans w/Owens. But the difference I see there is that Owens was a player on another team outside the division, Moss was a player on a division rival.
bulldog
if the Patriots go out and get Moss we will know that someone other than Pioli is running the front office in NE. I don't see the Patriots adding the 32 year old Moss. The Packers also would have to be pretty desperate to add Moss, although the asking price of Aaron Rodgers may not be much for them to pay as evidently the GB brass has decided that Rodgers won't be the post-Favre answer at Qb. OWUeagleMD
I see what you're saying, but I was referencing when he was a Niner and put the ball on the star San Fran and Dallas had a pretty lengthy rivalry through the 90s.
