Cool McStud
I've lurked a ton here over the years--finally signing up a few months ago--and LavarLeaper is one of the guys around here that you can trust when he brings the "inside info." He has a pretty good track record.
soljaofjesus
yea I think hes also the guy who helped track redskinsone one of those years.. so yea I know he is credible
bricucci
Brunnell must go, he can't carry a team on his shoulders, hell he can't get out of the way of a falling player, just sacked again. Season is history were not going 8 and 1 after the bye, lets see what Campbell can do.
zoony
Brunell, the consumate coach killer. Plays just well enough not to get benched... but will never win you games. I'm just sorry that our HOF coach decided to ride this horse. I really am. .....
dickywaters
At 2-5, it's gonna be a little too late for that. Joe Gibbs has his head up his ass with this determination to stick with the vet. We need changes and it starts at the top.
Thirtyfive2seven
Is there any weight to this story? Who is the quarterback? Colins or Campbell?
rtbasye
might as well... we look toasted for the rest of the year anyways.
ironmic
Joe and his Friend "Mark" have stuck the Pool Stick up us. I know the Defense didn't play well, but sometimes you are going to get in a shootout and well that means you throw the ball downfield or better yet you must have the ability to throw the ball down field. The defense has kept us in games the last 3yrs is it too much to ask that Joe swallows his Man Love for his friend "Mark" and see what the the whole world can see! That his friend "Mark" Sucks and holds this offense back. We have rid ourselves of our locker room leaders, our play makers on Defense and brought in some harworking stiffs to go along with Joe's super smart firend "Mark"
SWFLSkins
I agree. I also believe we win this game. For no other reason then I had a dream about Brunell playing against the Cowboys on Nov 5 Nice post...you're 30 years old? Not a personal attack, but your credibility and dreams are not worth a hill of beans.
skinzfannumero1
I wouldn't be surprised if they stay with Boonell. Especially since he's getting his customary garbage time yards right now... He'll finish with what looks like respectable stats, then Gibbs can say, see, it isn't Mark (He played his guts out) he had 300 yards and a touchdown (after the game was out of reach)... Sickening... TankRizzo
the announcers are shocked that Brunell is still out there...I'm not. This is absurd.

CapitalDefense
Joe Gibbs is a very loyal person, do not blame him for trying to do what is best for this team. With that said if Jason Campbell is not on the field in 2 weeks, Joe its your call do not let me down. You mean Mark "3 yards and a cloud of dust" Brunell does not impress you with his completion percentage?

RezeT
I don't know why you guys can't understand this isn't 100% Brunells fault. Have you guys seen our O-line?

redskingluvr
Yeah the o line sucks, they did back in the glory days, yeah they need to get rid of jansen and samuels, all they seem to do is get penalties on the most important drives in the second half, 6 games in a row. Reality is that Mark is ismply not being a leader. He is half hearted an completely uninspiring. He might be a great guy, a fine player, but the qb also has to be the onfield general and leader, a warrior who leads into battle, and burnell just does not have those qualities burnt into him right now. He is a follower not a leader, and not a very good follower on top of that. He is a half hearted 'maybe we will do it' player, and the rest of the team reflects that right back at him. So if we r lucky 'maybe' they will win or play to their potential, and on this level, that aint gonna cut it and doesn't deserve a paycheck. I'll betcha he'll be leading the team in smiles and handshakes at midfield - seemingly unfazed by yet another loss though
RezeT
Yeah, and haven't YOU seen the QB? Geez! I never said it wasnt Brunells fault im just saying that it isn't all his fault maybe if he had some time to throw he can do something amazing. redskingluvr
All I have to say to this pathetic looking offense is- Play or go home, quit wasting our time and money with half hearted efforts and bs penalties etc. You aint pros yet.
redskingluvr
If they need help packing brunell's and wright's stuff up I volunteer. I hate sissies who can play but don't. I would rather have folks who can't play but do anyway.
TankRizzo
yup...there's the garbage time TD to pad the stats. Now we can get ready for 2 weeks of excruciating hell if Gibbs says he's sticking w/ his buddy mark. It's inevitable.
redskingluvr
interesting faq, after the same number of completions as our opposing qb, we had exactly half the yardage. Anyone care to explain that? Other than they just don't give a s***?
redskingluvr
You know who is hurting this team on offense? Our big name o linemen, our big name rb, and our big name veteran qb. The rest were fairly solid.
RypienBoyhoodHero
I will NOT root for this year's team, or any year's team for that matter, until Mark Brunell is benched. Accountability has to factor in somewhere. Brunell is uninspiring, luckluster, and a flat out BUM. Call me when Campbell starts. We could lose out the rest of the season, and I wouldn't care as long as Brunell is NOT playing. Brunell = WASHED UP.
