apickmans
He needs some PT before Indy thats for sure. Then we have a bye week and hopefully he will be fully healed for Dallas.

SMOSS89
KJ reported on Comcast Sportnet that Springs is "cautiously optimistic" about coming back for Sundays game.
Walking Deadman
This from comcast sportsnet..Springs practiced today, and is "cautiously optimistic" he will play sunday..He didnt feel any pain and it will be up to him if he feels good, he will play...So some good news there. Thanks for the info. Still doubt he'll play vs. the Titans. But it'd be really nice to see him against the Colts and Dallas (after the bye). But it'd be really nice to see him against the Colts and Dallas (after the bye). true that. If not for the titans and colts upcoming, then it sounds like he shoud definatly be ready for some big divion games coming up. We really need him for this late push. even if we are 3-4 going into the dallas game, i think springs will have a big enough impact on our D that we will start to turn our play around
chow184
I think he'll play in a nickel role, thus allowing us to slowly work him in the lineup HOWEVER I think if he gets in there and plays well he could end up starting sooner rather than later. FrFan
Hope he will recover 100%, can't wait to see him back on the field. Reading all these posts about him, he looks like the "messiah" that will save us from our fate. Hail
Pete
IMO, Springs should be on the bench as a back up at the most this week. While playing this week will help the team some, and get him up to game speed to some extent, I rather not rush it. PS, The return of springs will not fix all our problems in the secondary. Peirson going down for the season is far bigger then many realize.
phishisthegreatstuff
i doubt he will play first the titans or colts, but expect him back for dallas

I am also on record the night of the Vikes game (post game of course) that Priouleau was a bigger loss than people realize. I agree with you there 110%. Thanks for the info everyone. Hope to see Springs on the field Sunday. HAIL!
box8276
A healthy springs will help our D tremendously, if only for the fact that bum wright will park it on the bench.
Silencer6091
I doubt he'll start at the titans...If anything he'd get a snap or two...but I still don't expect him until after the bye...so it'll be a treat if he's in for the colts...
Gary@Redskins.com
Here's how it works, guys and gals. The weekly Injury Report is released by the team after 4 p.m. on Wednesday. Sometimes, it's as late as 6 p.m., as it was today. On Monday after every game, Redskins.com typically removes each player from the previous week's Injury Report. For example, Springs was listed as Out for the Giants game. We wouldn't want him to still be listed as Out by mid-week of the Titans game, and the site can't make up an injury designation on its own. So he was not listed at all. That's just the way the site operates right now. We'll work on changing it in the future. The Injury Report is now up to date on Redskins.com. My apologies for any confusion.

the burgundy and gold
we really need springs back. obviously...
Tastes Like Chicken
I'm in agreement with those who'd rather let Springs heal some more rather than rush back prematurely and reinjure himself, thus losing him for the entire season. As a matter of fact, I wouldn't risk him against the Colts either, I'd just as well see him return after the bye.
NoVaSkins21
They can play around with the injury report all week and not list Springs anywhere. Come gametime he could easily be inactive. As much as I don't like looking ahead, I think we probably need him more for the Colts than the Titans.
MLiverpool
It'd be nice to see him in there against the Titans, he needs to see the game at full speed (again).. everyone gets rust.. I'd rather have him a bit rusty against the Titans then the Colts..
