LoudMouth12thMan
Please merge or remove if I'm repeating something here. http://www.redskins.com/team/injuryreport.jsp Springs was in pads today, and he is not listed on the IR. Also, he is listed as the number 1 corner on the depth chart (not sure if this is new). Comments or insight from those who know what's going on here. Is he playing Sunday? From what it looks like he is likely to get some reps. Gibbs said that they would work him in, if I'm not mistaken. HTTR!

XxSpearheadxX
The IR is the place that players who are out for the season are put, like John Hall and David Patten last year. Since the Skins expect Shawn back this year he isn't on IR.
diesel22
At first glance of your title, I thought you were letting us know that he's not on injured reserve. I thought " no :pooh: ". I haven't seen anything yet about his staus -- but he needs to play this week. Anyone who thinks he is gonna step in @ Indy (with NO previous 2006 playing time) they are insane. He needs to get re-acclimated to game speed. Honestly, he needs 2 or 3 weeks playing agianst quality pass offenses to get ready for Peyton....but at the VERY least, he needs to play Sunday... Walking Deadman
Depth chart hasn't been updated......and technically on a depth chart he would be the #1 CB. Only problem is that noone as far as I can tell knows when he'll be able to come back.
LoudMouth12thMan
So sorry for the confusion guys. I'm a tool. I meant injury report. Its fixed. Is he playing or what? Does anyone know? Thanks. Love, The ES Idiot
ntotoro
He's usually listed on both the roster and the injury report. Wonder why he's not there, unless he's truly day-to-day. This might be a good week for him to try to get back to football shape.
macnoke03
If I'm not mistaken, wasn't he absent from the injury report at least last week too? I don't think this is an indication that he will be playing.

skinsngibbs4life
I didnt think that the injury reports came out until thursday? And that the list was usually kept empty until then? He will probably end up on the list in some form, a player usually doesnt go straight from out to completly healthy. Im just glad to see him on the practice field again
r2k64
I think they just said on SporsNite that Big Joe and Springs are the only ones listed as Questionable, with the rest of the players listed as Probable.
