OVCChairman
oh, and Lavar Arrington, i believe this is his 7th season and we had resigned him since he came out of college and since he'd been to the pro bowl

Mr. S
I think the point is players we Signed (as free agents) from 1999 onwards. I don't think draft picks count. It makes sense as they couldn't be a "pro-bowler we signed since 1999" if we drafted them. With that said, no other player comes up.

fuji869
Kind of a cop out and i dont know if it'll work but we did sign Art Monk to a 1 day contract, was that after 99? Art Monk signed the one day contract before the 1997 Season.

Enter Apotheosis
Kenny Wright....oh wait, it wont be official until AFTER this season:doh: That was as worthless a post as they come. Wright never even came close to a Pro Bowl in Jacksonville and the fact that you bring it up just to trash him when there are dozens of other threads built for that specific purpose is just stupid. jivelikenice
At least the majority of the list was signed prior to the Gibbs era. The stat is a good one but using the Probowl is misleading becuase a player could play well (i.e. Shawn Springs, C. Griffin) and not make the pro-bowl for no given reason.....I would look at a list from the Gibbs' era and try to come up with a list of players who have performed at a pro bowl level versus those who haven't: 1. Portis (Got robbed last year) 2. Marcus Washington - Made the pro bowl after coming to D.C. 3. Coles- Ditto 4. Satana MOss- Ditto 5. C Griffin- Has played at a pro bowl level 6. Shawn Springs- Has played at a pro bowl level 7. Brunell- His play has declined Any others??

The End
Haven't seen Arch on any lists I coulda sworn he made the pro bowl at least once with the Rams. Also, what about Jeff George he mighta made it in the mid 90's. Those are the only other two i could think of right now. But let's not forget about the good job Gibbs has done since he came back of drafting and getting new young talent without use of the free agent market. Since Gibbs has been here we've drafted Sean Taylor, Carlos Rogers, Chris Cooley, Rocky, and more. Not to mention Gibbs found Lamar Marshall, an undrafted rookie from Mich. State and he is quickly becoming an elite MLB.
