Does anyone have a list of the "21 Pro Bowl" players signed since 1999

I guess Carrier, Deion, Bruce Smith, Brad Johnson maybe?, Coles?, Mark Brunell, Portis, Ray Brown, Shawn Springs, Darryl Gardener maybe? Larry Centers if he was signed after 1999. Irving Fryar. Andre Reed was on our roster for a bit in 2000.

Those are some I can name for now

It's a pretty bad stat. I mean wasn't Ray Brown a former Pro Bowler? Of course he's not going to return to form when we sign him as a veteran backup.

It's an inflated stat, I'll give you that, but it's a valid point. Even if only 10 of the 21 players could have legitimately gone to the Pro Bowl as Redskins, the point is valid.

It's something I see as an old problem though and not something we should worry about with this team. I mean, we have been bringing in young, talented players lately:

Springs, Washington, Thomas, Moss, Randle-El, etc.

Add Armstead and Trotter to that list. The stat is we've signed guys who were Pro Bowlers and haven't been since we got them. However, that has changed since Gibbs got to town. Springs should have made it two years ago and Brunell and Portis wer absolutely robbed last year. Also, now we are signing guys who make the Pro Bowl for the first time with us such as Moss and Washington. You cannot compare what we have done the last two years to what happened the five years before that.

I have class and have to go, if it includes 1998 we can add more.

Keith Simms was a 3 time probowler but we signed him in 1998 dont know if that counts

Washington is a dominator

as is Moss

Randle el is good but not worth that much money

Springs is and always was very good

Thomas is good

i just don't like Lloyd, Duckett, Mcintosh ( i wanted an OL like winston justice)
