Die Hard
Hamstring injuries are BAD news for receivers. They usually linger for a long time.
Sweet Sassy Molassy
Damn that blows! I hope he didn't tear it, and I hope he can recover alright before the season starts.
DieselPwr44
Also in that article it says that Kris Jenkins is suffering from back spasms....not a good sign.
Titaw
New of players going down on the first day of camp is scary. Hopefully it isn't too serious.
88Comrade2000
While it's dissappointing any player has an injury but if our nfc opponents lose a key player- then that takes out one team competiting with us for a precious playoff birth. Hopefully, we don't lose a key player that we can't overcome.
TheREALJBird
I hope it isn't serious and that he'll be healthy in time to play some football. This is one of the reasons you don't have fantasy drafts until camp and preseason is over
blitzpackage
Seems like he might be OK according to GM Marty Hurney.... "It seems like he probably strained it," Panthers general manager Marty Hurney said. "He's done this before in training camp." Mania
Gary Clark had a hamstring injury that seemed to linger for his 7 years with the Skins. As a matter of fact in 2003 I met Gary Clark and I asked him how his hamstring was and he said it hurst like a mother .........er.
Alabama Man
the skins were extremely fortunate with injuries last year
Dirk Diggler
the skins were extremely fortunate with injuries last year Don't know if I'd go that far. Sure, compared to Philly they were in good shape but it's not like they just coasted through the season. They also were really banged up going into that playoff game in Seattle. Bottom line: While we managed to avoid the major season-ending injury to a key player, we had a lot of players miss time. Brunell also got injured on a cheap shot right in the middle of the stretch run. He played but he wasn't the same.
illone
portis was real banged up towards the end of the year. I remember him sitting out quite a few series towards the end of the year, and it seems like we hobbled into that Seattle game. Springs had the groin problem, Thomas out, brunell with the knee, Portis' back/shoulder. We had our share of bumps and bruises.
Jumbo
Damn. Hope this isn't going to be one of "those" pre-seasons where the league loses a bunch of stars before the games begin.

HailRiggoRanger
I don't care if the offense and defense look like crap in the preseason as long as there aren't any major injuries.
Peregrine
Could be big for the Panthers... Carolina fans are holding their breath. Meanwhile id trade a Smith injury for a TO injury anyday.
