AtticA
http://espn.go.com/swf/nfl/clayton/clayton_53man_index.html Very interesting based off the 53 man roster and the 102 million dollar salary cap. No Washington Redskins in the defense but, Moss at starting WR and Cooley as backup TE.
DoGood28
http://espn.go.com/swf/nfl/clayton/clayton_53man_index.htmlVery interesting based off the 53 man roster and the 102 million dollar salary cap. No Washington Redskins in the defense but, Moss at staring WR and Cooley as backup TE. My impression of that link was that the players were the best talent for the lowest possible price. The defense may or may not include Redskins. It is not based purely on talent which I think you're aware of anyway. Interesting list.

earl
it can't be the cheapest if manning is the qb. and i thought we overpaid for santana? i think its just john clayton's wet dream.
MrSilverMaC
How much is Sean Taylor making off his rookie contract after his 3rd year? I believe his cap hit is about 4.7 mil this year, but he's making way less in his base salary.
ChampSkinsFanatic
No Sean Taylor!? I know I havent seen alot of his games but my impression of Bob Sanders is that he is overrated and likes to go for the knees

drums and skins
This is simply based on putting the most talent together for the best price. Its not about getting the most elite talent at each position. Edit: Good, you read the explanation

SkinsNoles21
The only person I feel should be on there is Sean Taylor, because his contract isnt so huge. I knew no one from our Oline would be on there, they are all loaded. Ill take Moss and Cooley. All of our players are paid big time so it would be hard to take too many of them. If you took away Sanders and added Taylor, he would be over the cap. It's the best team he could put together staying under the cap, not the All Madden team. DWinzit
I'm not sure about numbers but Marcus Washington is a bargain at ANY price. My sentiment exactly, especially after looking at the OLB's on his list.
Burgold
Griffin is also one our more overlooked players and I don't think he comes at a prohibitive salary.

It's the best team he could put together staying under the cap, not the All Madden team. Not if you removed Manning and replaced him with Brady. I'd much rather have Brady and Taylor than Manning and Sanders. *Nevermind -- I just read that Brady's cap hit is actually higher this year than Manning's. JoeSkins
He really went cheap when it came to LB's. I wonder why Lemar Marshall couldn't make the cut at MLB when you've got Larry Izzo? One special teams coverage guy isn't worth sacrificing your depth at MLB.
JimmyWilliamsFanClub
NO CHAMP BAILEY either, hes only the best Corner in the league student of Darrell Green*Nevermind I read the explanation I personally think, regardless of the salary cap restrictions, that DH is better than Champ Bailey. talk show host
Anyone else notice that on the "ticker" at the bottom of the screen, we are in the top 10, and in many cases, the top 3, of ALL the ultimate depth charts, except run defense. and we are #3 OVERALL, behind only the seahawks and panthers. Talk about love!
