Santana_Fan
Sean Taylor-My favorite player. Year 3 of a great D. I think he can make a running at DPOTY. Clinton Portis -I'm looking forward to the 5 YPC 15 TD back from Denver. Brandon Lloyd -He's going to be SICK in our offense. I can feel it. That's the exact same as me
ChiefPowhatan17
1. Nemo Broughton gets more time and experience 2. Robert McCune gets to prove what he is made of. 3. Brandon Lloyd, can't wait to see the catches this guy will make.
[[ghost]]
in no specific order: CPo- If Saunders can do for portis what he did for Johnson, Clinton will OWN. Andre Carter- People on this board (myself included) have said the only weak link on this team has been the pass rush. hopefully, he can be that answer and turn our defense from dominant-top ten, to unbeatable, top 3. jason campbell- if he does indeed get playing time this season, he solely will determine out future. if he can't meet expectations, then signing so many young receivers for years to come wont do much good. Jesus, Mary & Joe Gibbs
1.)QB Jason Campbell - You live and die with your QB play in the NFL and if given a chance this season, either due to a Brunell injury or bad play, it's going to be a huge chance for Jason Campbell to solidify himself a spot as one of the young guns that'll be exciting to watch for the next 10 years or so... 2.)WR Brandon Lloyd - This guy has shown some BRILLIANCE at the WR position and in this offense is going to have a chance to really blow up. He's made plenty of acrobatic catches. I can't wait to see if he can become more consistant and make big plays more often in '06... 3.)FS Sean Taylor - Sean Taylor should be really geared to play in '06 after he's cleared of all charges by a court of law. If Sean Taylor can cut down on the stupid mental stuff and just go out and play football he's going to be FUN to watch because he's got unlimited potential... Honorable Mention CB Carlos Rogers(The 2nd year corner didn't start last year until around almost midseason and showed flashes of really good CB play. He's got a lot of room to improve and I can't wait to see how high his ceiling is.) LB Rocky McIntosh(LaVar Arrington is in N.Y. now and this gives McIntosh, our #1 pick in the draft, a great chance to come into camp and really make a name for himself and grab a starting spot early. In Gregg Williams defense I believe McIntosh can really excell at stopping the run and blitzing the QB. Should be fun to watch him blossom in '06) WR/KR Antwaan Randle El(This could be the best return specialist the Redskins have had since the days of Brian Mitchell and that was a fun era. Anytime you have a guy who can break kicks open for big returns it's exciting. He's also a pretty accomplished offensive player catching AND throwing the ball. I expect Randle El to add an excitement to the Redskins offense it hasn't seen in probably ever.) Not to mention all the guys who made Redskins football in '05 so great to watch... Santana Moss, Clinton Portis, Chris Cooley, Mark Brunell, Cornelius Griffin, Joe Salave'a, Marcus Washington, Shawn Springs, etc... :notworthy
Snagletooth
Portis in the Saunders offense can he reach the highest level? Defensive additions may allow more blitzing, attacking for Marcus Washington, who may already be our best defensive player. He has a good spin move when rushing the QB and could make a greater impact in this defense than he has in the past. dfbovey
Clinton Portis - I'm excited to see how he will do this year with Al Saunders calling the plays, and two more threats in the passing game to keep the 8th man out of the box. I think he'll have his best year as a pro this season. I'm looking for him to break the 1,600 yard mark and have around 14 TDs. Andre Carter - He is the pass rushing end that this team has desperately needed for a long time. I'm very interested to see the impact he will have on this defense and Williams schemes. If he can help to provide a consistant pass rush, Williams won't have to blitz as much to create pressure. If healthy he could provide the team with double digit sacks for the first time in a long time. Sean Taylor - He really started to show his play making ability towards the end of last year. IMO, he is poised to step up and claim the title of best safety in the NFL.

WeThreeKingsRuleU
J.C. - even if it's just in a preseason game, i wanna see what a full year under gibbs did for him Santana - again, with no help last year he broke the franchise record, the only way he wont be able to top last season will be because brunnel will have so much talent to spread the ball around McIntosh - I know our D is good, and I love watching them play, i'd like to see what this guy brings to the table, being our #1 draft pick and all

FootballGuy2677
1. Clinton Portis- If you give him the opportunity. He is going over 2,000 Yards whether you like it or not. He is gonna be used in the passing game like Priest Holmes was on screens and Clinton Portis is a playmaker in the passing game(look at past seasons long-catches). 2. Carlos Rogers- He is gonna be great for this defense. He already is, without him I doubt we would of made it to the playoffs last season with Walt "Burnt Toast" Harris at number 2 cornerback. Thing I like about him is he forces the fumbles hes gotten with technique. Meaning he dosnt just go up and beat the **** outta them and hope a fumble comes out. 3. Adam Archuletta- Safety spot in our defense is crucial in the pass blitz. I wanna see how well he does while blitzing and protecting our turf in pass coverage. 3a. Jason Campbell- I dont know but I got a feeling were be seeing him at Quarterback this season. Keep an eye out for Brandon Lloyd. He is the only guy on our roster that has experiance at the number 1 reciever slot and if Santana Moss gets hurt(as in previous seasons except in 2005-2006) he is gonna need to step up. Larry
Rock Cartwright. Obviously they gave him a three-year contract because Coach Gibbs read one of my (millions of) posts about what a great short-yardsge specialist he is, and this year they're actually going to give him more than 20 carries a year. Cooley and Portis. With two downfield receivers, I see opportunities in the middle.
Skins4481
Gibbs, Williams, Saunders... oh playersCarter, Rogers, Taylor - and just so there is no mistake, that's not Taylor Jacobs I am really interested to see Saunders do his stuff I have the same three also. 1 - Andre Carter - People forget that last time this guy was healthy for a whole season and playing his natural position(DE) he had 12 sacks. One thing we were missing the past few seasons was pass rushing DE and now we got one. 2 - Carlos Rogers - This guy didnt play that much last year but when he did he showed flashes of greatness. He got beat by The Bucs WR in the playoffs but made an awesome play to knock the ball out of his hands, saving the game and touchdown. He is a pretty exciting guy to watch. This mother****er got hops! A lot of times I saw him give big cushions thinking the ball will pass over his head but dude just seems to float in the air and grab the mofo. 3 - Sean Monster Taylor - I cant wait to see what this guy can do with the players around him. 3rd year in the league + a pass rush = Sean Taylor in the running for defensive player of the year. I have never been so excited for a season! HTTR!
Skins4481
With a hugh hole at QB, the most exciting players on the Skins are Portis, Moss, and Taylor. If Campbell plays ... he must be added to the mix. With the QB situation in chaos, it remains to be seen how ARE and Loyd will do. There is quite a fall off from here. What are you talking about? The QB situation is in no way in chaos. I don't really see how our QB situation is in chaos. What's the problem? Brunell had an excellent year last year and barring injury he'll have another one this year. And if anything does happen to Brunell I think that Campbell is poised to step up and make some plays.
Joey T
1). Rogers. I hope he can improve his game in 06 as well as he did in the last half of last season. We need at least one damn good CB. Springs is also good and he is our mainstay at CB, but he's getting up in years...... 2). Carter. The one element we have missed in our D since GW arrived is a pass rushing DE. I hope Carter is the answer. He doesn't have to have a huge sack total(but that helps ), just put tremendous pressure on the QB so the other players around him will have an opportunity to make plays. 3). Lloyd. This guy seems to have all world talent. I hope the Skins can harness it and he steps up big time. If Lloyd can take some coverage with him, Santana will put up impossible numbers/results. Regarding the Skins D: If Rogers improves and Carter picks up his game, the Skins D will be lights out IMHO. Regarding the Skins O: See #3 above. I haven't even mentioned ARE yet
Gregpeck99
I definitely agree about Campbell ... he will be the Skins' Franchise QB for the next 10 years ... but right now we are stuck with fumblin, mumblin Mark ... who by the way Brunell lovers ... did not do all that well last year. If it weren't for Clinton, Santana, Cooley (both of whom latter converted many dinky Brunell passes into hugh gains) and an opportunistic defense especially with Griffin and Daniels comming out ... the Skins would have not won 5 in a row. Mark gets too much credit he does not deserve ... he should be let out to pasture.
