BlueinBuf Posted April 11, 2010 How come mailboxes in apt buildings always have locks on them, but mailboxes for standalone houses never do. Are apt dwellers more likely to steal someone's mail? Do apt dwellers get more exciting stuff in the mail that's worth stealing? Are we as a society so lazy that our thieves can't even walk down the block to steal someone's mail? I think it's more likely the fact that those standalone mailboxes are out in public where most people would be hesitant to just steal from them for fear of being seen. If not, I didn't even realize it. I recorded the demolition on TV and watched it when I woke up. I wasn't willing to wake up early to see it live because I have to wake up at 5:30 on weekdays, so I am gonna take full advantage of the weekend. I've also been busy watching afternoon baseball, some hockey, and the Masters. So I've been occupied. But now you see me. :pfft: edit: I just looked, and yes I did post twice earlier today.
