All of his blitzes have been picked up teams max protecting while we have inadequate defenders (Walt Harris) in coverage. In one of his interviews Williams said there is no max protect for his D well Simms in not great, good, or even adecent QB and he threw for over 300 on us. GW got a lilttle to ****y and teams have his number. Gruden is a great OC and he put in some good formation that had our D scratchin there heads. GW simply got out coached today. You break down more than 40 year old car. # 20, Not only do you ****ing suck, and you showed why you are lucky to be number 2 on the depth chart, but to see you ****ing on the sideline, couldn't you have waited till after you help blow the game? We need to upgrade our secondary. Springs is awesome. So is Taylor. But beyond that it is shaky at best. Rogers is supposed to be the new big deal, but he's not ready, and it's not his fault. Samuels, is way way overrated, and three bad seasons in a row...that is more a trend now than a hick up. You are wrong about Sammuels. If we have a doulble team block on and Rice still gets outside its the other guy responsiblity to stop him from going outside not Sammuels one time he had to push Portis to the outside. They did not trust him one on one with rice and we tried to use every one but the ball boy to help out. What we need are some corners. Harris and Springs are awful. end of story. He's not expected to be incredible, he is expected to play like he belongs on the field. At least look like you're prepared for the game. The guy sucks. Walt Harris and Prioleau should be cut. End of story. thanks for bringing up Walt Harris, great comparison between the starting CB and our back-up FS...if the FS is in a 1on1 situation with the receiver then your always in trouble. you want Pierson to be cut for 1 bad game. Where we wasn't even that bad. So he got burned. Springs, Harris, Rogers all got burned. Our entire defense was playing terrible and your ****ing about the back-up FS. If our offense wasn't so good we would of lost this game by like 20 points, because it doesn't take much for someone to figure out to throw at Walt Harris's side of the field. What he didin't explain was that he implemented a game plan that was too aggressive for his personelle. You can't leave your corners "on an island" and expect them to cover a guy like Galloway. Williams put his corners and safetys in very difficult situations by leaving them one on one an awful lot. That's okay b/c next week you only have to cover Jerry Porter and Randy Moss. Why, Why with less than 2 minutes remaining for the Bucs and no timeouts would you commit to the blitz (which has more often than not been abysmally ineffective) and expose such a poor secondary? Give the Bucs a short field and then play no D. And the fiasco on the extra point...2 penalties...why is nobody calling for Danny Smith's head...the special teams have sucked this year...yeah we got a runback for a TD today but all in all even Gibbs has said we really need to step up teams play...start by launching Frost farther than he could kick the ball. How many passes are going to hit Patten RIGHT IN THE HANDS before he catches something? Not enough balls going your way? Please. A pass to Patten is a wasted down. Walt Harris might be the worst starting corner in the league. On one of those touchdowns he's actually walking casually in the endzone while the WR makes the catch. I could tell that Joe Gibbs made a concerted effort to give patten the ball and he didnt show up at all. Let Jacobs be the number 2. He can do NO WORSE.
