  1. Well to be fair, they won a playoff game last year. I’m with you though, he’s about as good as quinoa.
  2. Did not see this anywhere, but sorry if this has been posted already https://www.behindthesteelcurtain.com/2023/6/10/23756072/source-steelers-are-in-on-chase-young-but-not-on-dalvin-cook-nfl-news-rumors-update Sources inside the Steelers organization made it known the team has a strong interest in acquiring Washington Commanders, and former 1st Round draft pick, Chase Young.
  3. Well according to the message, the picture was when he was in high school. I think you are right and he looks about that age there!
  4. Sorry, I’ve watched two defender games this season and they lost both. My fault
  5. Yes, but I’m saying I hope he doesn’t get it in his head that he has to be that guy to make a play on the ball. With the media and the team talking about how that’s what’s expected. Nothing to do with his coverage ability
  6. I just hope he doesn’t get it in his head that he has to always make a play on the ball only, could get him in trouble
  7. I agree 100% and I hope you’re right. I’m just kind of basing it off previous coach speak and a guesstimate. None of us will truly know until we’re deep into the season anyways. I also think people look too hard at team stats like pass/run% without taking into account any of the other factors. Playing from behind, taking what opponents give, running clock, etc. however, there are teams that play super aggressive and keep attacking late in the game with a lead and it would be nice to have a QB that can allow us that luxury.
  8. We are very likely going to be a run heavy team. Young QB, new offense two good/decent RBs and a rook OC that used to be a RB and RB coach for many years and from what I can see during his OC stints in college they were run focused just because he was under Reid doesn’t mean he’s going to call plays like Reid. It’s also a good idea to play to the teams strengths. We’ve invested heavily in the defense. We have a team full of old school coaches from HC, OC, to DC. Not saying they won’t think outside the box, but my guess would be lean on the run game and defense while controlling TOP
  9. I like our schedule for the most part. Our division games aren’t all tacked on the end of the year and we have some tougher games early on to see where we are. The cards and Denver are some beatable teams to open against
  10. He looks like someone they’d use as an extra blocker. Would probably not fair well against top ends or tackles, but I could see him blocking a LB or DB easily
  11. And linebacker probably. We’ll have a new defensive coordinator. They may want to run a completely different D
  12. I’m excited to see how these rookies pan out. They may not have been who I/we wanted, but they’re who we’ve got. Wish them all the best, let’s gooooo
  13. Very true. I guess we will have to wait and see.
  14. Yeah I think people have gotten hung up on EB thinking hes going to run a replica of andy rieds O. Im sure it will be similar, but with having a young QB and EB having a running background, I assume we are going to be a more running focused team
  15. They looked at that and said “that’s more than young the past two years. That’s our guy.”
  16. Looks like Daniels played LG, then RT and LT. Didn’t miss many gamss, so fairly reliable. Looking like a flex depth guy
  17. Ron and Mayhew heard everyone saying they dont take corners in the first two rounds and doubled down. Take that fans.
