  1. Dan has officially taken the torch from Mark Davis. I didn’t think that was possible. You really have to go out of your way to look like such an absolute train wreck. At least Davis’ wife isn’t complimented for her “fashion expertise”. The same lady that influenced the designs for an NFL rebrand let’s her husband attend games looking like Weekend At Bernie’s.
  2. Turner just got extended to my knowledge. I assume he’s safe and full of excuses in every meeting. Even though anyone with eyes can see this dude is drawing dead with most play calls.
  3. I don’t disagree with the majority of your post. But I have to believe this regime is cooked. Perhaps they do come back because of all the money on the books, but I simply cant see them fixing the roster issues or Turner learning how to call a functional offense.
  4. Does anyone though? Everyone leaves here worse than how they showed up. Literally every coach we’ve ever had under Dan starts breaking down right before our eyes. If they were average before they got here, they leave well below average. This environment just beats folks down.
  5. Yeah, Carson’s not very good. He leaves plays out there, but they are few and far between the plays that have no chance of working from the moment they are called in.
  6. I’m not shedding tears for the dude. But the fact of the matter is there is a difference between Dan’s history of ineptitude and what transpired shortly after Ron took the gig. The sexual harassment suit, the shadow investigations, the Wilkinson report, the minority owner drama, the name change, rebranding, congressional hearings, the Gruden leaks, and so on. It’s been an absolute mess and soon he will be able to see his way out of it. I’m fine with him being collateral damage to get a new owner, but I’ll be having no party to welcome whatever else Dan has up his wrinkled sleeve next.
  7. I can’t help but have empathy for folks that coach here. I get it - they get paid a lot of money to deal with this stuff. But to be fair, everyone takes this job with this positive attitude that they are going to be the one to change it all. I’m sure Dan has these guys at hello, talking about coach centric. In their own minds they really believe they can turn this thing around. And in fairness to Ron, he had no idea the **** storm that was about to be unleashed pertaining to Dan. This is more drama than any head coach has ever has to manage through. He’s simply following suit and breaking down before our very eyes like everyone else before him. Before anyone gets out of pocket, I’m not excusing bad roster management, bad clock management, bad challenges, bad coordinators, etc. I’m just saying it seems every coach here follows this same path and it’s not a coincidence. I just don’t have any real disdain for Ron, perhaps because I don’t care if they lose. You keep trying to sell yourself on that. But you will never be able to muster the passion you had for this team with the Ravens. You can pretend to. It’s sort of like when a guy loses the love of his life. Starts dating the new girl, she’s younger, hotter and does all the things his wife stopped doing. He keeps trying to tell himself the new girl is so much better, but still yearns for the old bag no matter what.
  8. My favorite was: KH: “…and that would have been a touchdown” AM: “God forbid”
  9. Only the Commanders can find a way to win the worst game ever played and then subsequently lose the press conference. The best part of the night was Al Michaels’ one liners about how pathetic the game was and crushing Dan. My one takeaway is that it looks as if Scott Turner is actively trying to sabotage the offense. It’s that bad. So many play calls that appear to be the absolute worst possible call for the situation. It’s almost unbelievable how bad he is at calling plays.
  10. Folks are about to be real mad when Ron talks about how hard it is to win in this league, they have things to work on, but he’s proud that they fought.
  11. That block might buy him another few games with the locker room. Im not sure any QB in the league makes that block.
  12. I know we do this about every OC, but Scott Turner is god awful. It’s almost unbelievable. Al Michaels is a god tonight. My man has given us so many gems, and just flat out saying the league wishes he’d sell the team.
  13. Next they are going to line up Norwell’s fat ass up at Tight End.
  14. NFL just like eff it tonight. Just letting us get all the penalties down the field and we still couldn’t get 7. Dude didn’t have it secured with 2 feet in, no review.
  15. How much terrible football has this regime provided to us over the last year? Just god awful football. Different pieces, same 💩.
  16. Remember when we and other analysts, were so impressed with Scott’s offense? WTF happened? There have been so many situations where he just dials up the absolute worst possible call.
  17. That’s been my thought all day. It’s hard for me to root for a Jon Allen or Terry McLaurin to lose. But I really believe a total bottom out is what the doctor ordered.
  18. I see this most likely being another Thursday night snooze fest, where whoever plays less bad wins. Less likely, the team rallies and plays inspiring football, defense creates turnovers for once, and Ron gets to buy 10 days of less drama.
