I don't think two players who have been playing together since college on the d-line are going to drift apart over this. They both came out and said it's not a big deal. The two of them play complimentary to each other. I personally would like to see them both on the line for years to come.

Well in that case no-one should bother drafting any QBs this year.

Still some season to go, but both Dan Quinn and Kellen Moore are candidates the Jags want to interview. I wouldn't hate it if they both left Dalass.

The football team would benefit greatly if Dan copied Jerruhs facilities, he copied the benches so obviously he likes what Jerruh does. Snyder has money he needs to cough it up and make a state of the art compound with all of the necessary team facilities, including the training rooms, medical facilities, mental health facilities, yoga and pilates instructors, dieticians, team chefs, a team hotel with room for close family members (wives and young kids), film rooms for the players, literally anything that could possibly be needed. The teams players should not be left wanting anything while training and practicing at the facilities. There's no excuse for him to cheap out other than he is cheap.

I'm not saying Heineke is a starter in this league, he is a stopgap clearly he has no value to any other team and is under contract next year. I would love to see the team address the QB position in every way possible coming up this off-season. Whether free agency or trade plus drafting someone to learn. The problem is other QBs having to learn Turners system. Even Fitz said in the off-season it is different from all of the other offenses he learned in the league. Of the available options Watson is the most attractive in terms of QB ability and age. However we aren't going to pay the price Houston wants, and he is mired in legal problems that have no end in sight. Probably a pass for the team. Rodgers isn't coming here. Wilson has reiterated he wants out of Seattle. I'd love to have him but I don't think he wants to come to Washington. If he is willing I think he should be who we pursue. FA quarterbacks are FA for a reason, Mariota or Trubiski could be an improvement I suppose they have to decide from their offers however. Still a lot of time to see what develops, a lot could still change prior to FA.

Well that's why they are stopgaps. They have flaws.

I agree this would be interesting. That requires our DC to play to his players strengths and put them in positions to make plays. The Dalass team had no problem altering the positioning of playmakers namely Parsons. I get he's a better player than Jamin but he seems to be put in better situations. I don't ever recall Jamin being used as a pass rusher, now I don't watch him too closely it could be that he just isn't efficient so therefore it isn't done. Anyway I hope he improves to play the position they are playing him in at a high level for years to come.

Scherff, Holcomb and Larsen off the list. Larsen put on IR for his Achilles. Seen some stats that we lose every game without Scherff in the lineup so good news?

Davis was also in the car behind Everett in the fatal crash, they were out to dinner together. I don't blame this young man one bit for not being ready to play a game based on that alone. He presumably watched this woman who he was just out with die on the side of the road. If he was sick on top of that no-one can tell him he needs to go play this game.

I agree it wouldn't have changed the outcome just the fact that officiating crew decided oh well we can't be bothered to do our jobs today is troubling.

I will add if it were to happen that Ron got shown the door. (I don't support this idea) Kellen Moore is an intriguing HC candidate knobsucker (erm Collinsworth) alluded to him being targeted in the next few years. He seems to be an upcoming coordinator who will get a shot. Ron deserves the benefit of seeing this contract through. It's painful to see the team play so badly but with circumstances like they faced I will not lose any sleep. Also don't we have like a brain trust of GMs that Ron had hired? Hopefully they doing everything they can to find us a QB they should be checking every chance and maybe even going to all the grocery stores and checking if any washed out QBs are working there. Worked for the Rams right?

The refs should be added to no effort. Early drive when the Dalass center was way down field on a pass and not called. There were holds literally every play. I get it they called it the same both ways but it was ugly. Oh yeah and the penalty on McCain but nothing when Dalass leads with the helmet on our quarterback. I'm not saying it was all on the refs but they did not try to enforce anything in this game.

I have a hard time blaming coaches for the awful situation of starting players who have no business playing with NFL stars. Our defense had none of our linebackers aside from Mayo who I believe was signed to fill a special teams role. The covid outbreak is really screwing us hard.

Taylor is a great story but not the answer. He cannot take the top off a defense he simply cannot make the throws. Dalass had him figured out take away the short game and he can't beat you. No doubt QB needs addressed in my opinion. Problem is a rookie doesn't solve all of the problems with the team. Covid and injuries really piled up before this game and next week could be different but I just don't think the team has it in them to come back to winning.

Ugh makes them want to hit somebody.
