  1. Seriously ? That's almost identical to us. And they must have Heinicke's little brother to be on a streak like that.
  2. Yep, and 2 head to heads coming up. So, sweep them and that by itself makes it just 1 game. They also have to play the Raiders, Saints, Cardinals, and Philly
  3. What happened to our buddy ODU Aggie ? I havn't seen him post in a long time. Was this the thread that sent him home ? 😛
  4. How does our Special Teams do it ? We do it the Slye, Cheeseman Way.
  5. Well then it's a good thing our Franchise QB is only making 2 Million a year, to be able to afford Terry
  6. I guess you didn't get my joke. Just evaluating Slye, how the critics do, on Heinicke
  7. It was the quality of the catches. 4th and 3 on a crucial drive, setting up a crucial FG
  8. Oh he's been perfect for us. But it's too small a sample size. Plus, the competition. He hasn't faced an elite Special Teams unit yet. So I'm still drafting a kicker in a high round next year. We need a kicker with an NFL leg. A cannon for a leg. Slye's leg is too weak. And he's short. It's like Doug Flutie out there kicking. Slye is a good backup kicker, but he's just not starter material. I just don't see him taking us all the way. I want a Franchise Kicker.
  9. Yes, he's missed 2 FG's this year - but they were not with us, if that's what you mean. He missed a couple while playing for Houston and SF, right before coming here. Missed one FG with each of those teams, and one XP with each of them
  10. He missed a kick just now, that was so far off, that it was closer to making it through the uprights in the Rams' nearby SoFi Stadium. Fortunately for him, PIT was offsides and he got to retry
  11. Maybe you and I were the ones separated at birth, if you look at my post above, the one I attached his pic
  12. Heinicke completed five of six passes with two touchdowns against the blitz, giving him a 6-0 TD-INT ratio for the season against blitzes. And we're 4-0 when we score 25+ points.
  13. It's been more than just a one week drop, but appearing to be a pattern. Remember Denver vs Dallas ?
  14. I am happy, that he was unhappy. Tells me he is not lacking confidence at all, in making a long kick, that could decide the game, even with little experience behind him. I have a feeling he'll be clutch,
  15. Yea, I meant South. Ever since they added a 4th Division to each conference, I sometimes get them confused
  16. This was supposed to be a low-scoring game. That's what the media predicted. He goes against a Defense that was ranked #1 against the pass ! He's with no viable offensive receiver weapon beyond McLaurin, with our #2 receiver out, and our #1 AND #2 TE out, leaving a 4th round rookie as the TE starter, and a backup TE who never played football at any level before now. And an OL with the RT down, and the #1 AND #2 Centers down, and at one point we were down to our #4 Center. And a RB with Fumblitis and doesn't know when to stay in bounds. In most cases, we'd be using those as excuses for a loss. But Heinicke throws 3 TD's and zero INT's, with a decimated offense, against a top ranked defense and potential playoff team, and scores 27 points for the Win.
  17. and we just now officially gained a game towards first place Dallas, FWIW. 3 games behind them, which could turn into 1 game behind them, by sweeping them. We hold Tie-breakers over Carolina, Atlanta, Tampa, and halfway towards a Tiebreaker over the NYG. 3-1 against the NFC South. Only New Orleans beat us from that division. And so far, undefeated in the NFCE.
  18. We are 3-1 against the NFC South And 1-0 in our Division
  19. That's crazy, especially considering the cancer battle through most of the season
  20. But as far as players being out for the year, it doesn't look too bad - again, compared to a lot of other teams. It's nice how the schedule worked out, with the timing of our divisional games, along with the trajectories of each of us : Dallas appears to be on a downward spiral, while we're on an upward trend, and still have 5 divisional games left at year's end. I'm not sayin we're going to catch them, but it's inspiring to see us charging in that direction, and I like our chances at a Wild Card, if we keep this up.
  21. But how much actual injuries have they actually had ? Like compared to other teams. Seems like just a small number of injuries will wreck a Dallas team, while other teams can endure a mountain of injuries and still stay competitive.
